Product Description
Dive into tropical waters and discover the life aquatic, a life of nature, beauty and intrigue. In Endless Ocean, you are the guest of a tranquil sea filled with creatures so unique they must be experienced up-close. More of an experience than a game of any sort, Endless Ocean gives you the freedom to explore underwater locations, searching for fish to photograph and place in your log, or simply take a relaxing swim among the inhabitants of the sea. You'll be able to directly interact with some species, using the Wii Remote to touch members of the undersea community. Come face-to-face with such animals as angelfish, penguins, walruses and dolphins. Whilst underwater, you can even find lost ruins and secret diving locations. The Wii Remote's pointer capabilities are used to navigate through most of the game, whether it's directing the ship to a location on a map or directing the diver which way to swim. When you want to interact with ocean life, you'll simply point at it and then press the A Button. In addition to searching your vast waters, you can share Friend Codes with a friend and explore his or her sea via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Dive together and share in an adventure like no other.

5 out of 5 stars Fintastic!   July 20, 2008

I never write reviews on games.Until now...
What can I say? When I first popped this into my Wii I was thinking along the lines of the old Spectrum game Scuba Dive - boy was I wrong!
This 'game' is out of this world. I hesitate to use the word 'game' as this is more of an experience than a game, although the storyline is interesting and the missions keep you going.
The graphics and sounds are exceptionally well done , giving you the feeling of really being under the sea. Grabbing hold of a Whale Shark and letting it pull you along is just mad! I cannot begin to describe how impressed I was by this - even though I am more used to mmorpgs and strategy games - this is so totally different, and as others have said, quite relaxing.
This is a landmark program and should be given away free with every Wii sold in my opinion.

Only gave it 5 stars as 10 was not an option.......

5 out of 5 stars So relaxing   July 20, 2008

Endless Ocean (Wii)
I had my doubts about buying this game but thought i would give it a go and if i didn't like it the kids could have it.
Well what a suprise i got when i first played it !
The game is very relaxing to play, graphics are superb showing all the details of the marine life.Basically you receive e-mails with tasks to do etc,you can then explore the underwater life photographing fish, interacting with them and even having your own friend to teach tricks to.
Overall i was amazed at how much i enjoy playing this game,so much i spent 4 hours the first time and completely forgot to start dinner !
If your after a shootem up or RPG then this game is definately not for you,it will suit all ages, after all im 48 and have spent so many hours with this game and still finding new things,go ahead and buy it and be totally amazed.

5 out of 5 stars Stunning   July 14, 2008

I'm a hardcore gamer, and loads of people brag on as they think this is not for hardcore people. It is, and it's great to relax with this after a long Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess, Mario Kart Wii or Super Smash Bros. Brawl session.

It's at a good price and the MP3 compatibility makes it better. Make sure you get a Wii SD card so you enjoy the full game without restricted content.

5 out of 5 stars Relaxing!   July 6, 2008

This game is amazing. What a great idea for a game. I find this game so relaxing when exploring the ocean. There are so many things to see and do with all the little challenges you are set. The graphics are also really good and you can learn so much about what goes on down in the ocean.

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful Water Adventure for all Ages   June 30, 2008
Caroline+Kats (Breezy East Scotland)
My kids love this game and they range from teenage to 7. Usually they go for action packed simulation games and this is much more slow paced but they are amazed at what they find exploring the ocean and have been on it for ages. Would highly recommend - much more interesting than the back of the box suggested it would be!
