Product Description Dive into tropical waters and discover the life aquatic, a life of nature, beauty and intrigue. In Endless Ocean, you are the guest of a tranquil sea filled with creatures so unique they must be experienced up-close. More of an experience than a game of any sort, Endless Ocean gives you the freedom to explore underwater locations, searching for fish to photograph and place in your log, or simply take a relaxing swim among the inhabitants of the sea. You'll be able to directly interact with some species, using the Wii Remote to touch members of the undersea community. Come face-to-face with such animals as angelfish, penguins, walruses and dolphins. Whilst underwater, you can even find lost ruins and secret diving locations. The Wii Remote's pointer capabilities are used to navigate through most of the game, whether it's directing the ship to a location on a map or directing the diver which way to swim. When you want to interact with ocean life, you'll simply point at it and then press the A Button. In addition to searching your vast waters, you can share Friend Codes with a friend and explore his or her sea via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Dive together and share in an adventure like no other.

Lovely game, but not for hardcore September 15, 2008 James Stevens (UK) I think this game is great, but its definitely not for the hard core gamer market. My six year old also loves it, she's played it the most (some 20 hrs in a week). There is a plot to it, and some tasks, but on the whole they are both relatively simple. The fun is finding & identifying the sea life and seeing what animals will turn up on your boat. The "ocean" can get a bit familiar - its all basically tropical reef & white sand - although there are some "features" like a cave, ruin, deep raveen etc. We can all identify a load more breeds of sea life than we could before. Definitely worth the price. Very relaxing to just drift about in the sea for a while after work!
Endless Ocean? Rubbish. Don't buy it. September 13, 2008 O. M. Aszkenasy (Washington, Tyne & Wear United Kingdom) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I got this game a few months ago, it is nowhere near as good as I thought it would be. I had to rate it 1 star because it wouldn't allow me to give any less. It's uninteresting, boring, no action, I like a bit of action, like shooting, etc. All you just do is swim around. I traded it in for the game Family Ski, which is what you'll be doing after a week of boring swimming on the Wii. Just get Wii Play instead. Get Mario & Sonic at the Olympics instead. JUST DON'T GET ENDLESS OCEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A hugely engrossing diving simulation game, though it wont be to everyones tastes. September 1, 2008 James Petford (Stourbridge) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Now i bought this game a few months back as it is sold as part of the "touch generations" series of games which are meant for the casual market and sell for budget prices, i have to say im pretty impressed with it. Basically this game requires you to search for many different aquatic creatures across a huge game map ranging from coral reef's to dark caverns and it is done with a high level of flair, it does everything it sets out to do. Though if you like your fast paced games i suggest you give this a miss. Pros: Great visual effects Nice Control scheme Long lasting game, a slow burner Cons: Some people will find the pacing far too slow Not to everyones tastes.
Relax & unwind August 11, 2008 Jillyc This game is difficult to describe as a game, I see it more as a virtual aquarium and after a stressful day its great to just "dive into the water and lose yourself in the underwater world" for a while. The tasks you are given and the tours you take people on give the game a good structure and stop it from getting mundane, the music is relaxing but it's also great that you can load your memory card with mp3's of your own choice.
Boring and uncaptivating August 7, 2008 Ezer Goode 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I am 32 year old, into first person shooters, wii sports, racers etc etc. I bought this based purely on the rave reviews it recieved here and after playing for a couple of hours I was astoundingly bored of swimming around looking at fish with this naff notebook, and felt I was wasting my time. Also, there's the cheesy dialogue with the boat character which has to be suffered. The game itself is very pretty, no doubt, but really feels very unrewarding and I finished playing with absolutely no desire to ever play again. I kept it for a further two weeks thinking maybe curiosity would get me back in the water, but to no avail. It had to be sold. I'm sure I haven't explored the depths of this game, but for me, a game has to draw you in, and if I can't be bothered after two hours play, its hard to justify investing more time in it. If you like "relaxing" games maybe this is for you, but I play for excitement, and if I want to relax I can listen to music, read a book or lounge around without pretending to be a diver. Just a warning to those who may see the amazing reviews, it won't be everyone's cup of tea.
