5 out of 5 stars Brilliantly Good   July 7, 2008

The game is one of the best out of the need for speed series, as it has great racing tracks and thrilling police pursuits. The Cars in this game are brilliant and give you a good sense of speed while drivng on although this is not the case for the begining cars. The blacklist races are the most thrilling yet annoying races in the game but they give you a sense of an achievement when you beat them and most of all it is better when you beat them AND steal there car from them as added insult to them. The game is brilliant and for any racing player this is a must to buy and even if you not a racing player you NEED to get this game.

NFS Most Wanted is a total success, because it manages to be exciting, addictive & this 360 version looks amazing. The city of Rockport is huge & it has a gritty & grimy look that's very realistic.

The choice of cars is very extensive, & the career mode is the main part of the game where you work your way through, win races, earning money as you go & meeting new challengers in the game's "blacklist". I must also mention the movie scenes in between the races. These look absolutely superb & have real people in them, & not CGI characters !!

Finally, the police element in the game is wonderful. It's huge fun to have the chance to make a getaway & have several police cruisers on your tail !!! Awesome.

A racing game that's really special !!!

Owning and completing this game on PS2 was a lotta fun so now owning a 360 I had to get it and play.
Let me start by saying I own both Carbon and Most wanted and most wanted is a far better game in every department.
For starters it the first one I can remember that actually races in the day allowing you to take in the beautiful graphics and overall design of the game.
The police chases A huge huge bonus they actaully make you feel tense as your wanted level goes up as you cause more chaos whilst racing.
The story is brilliant with hilarous FMV;s brilliantly cheesy and a lot of fun to watch. - Not sure if they where supposed to be comical to start with but by half they are cracking to watch.

The Cars themselves are good in number and choice, with the usual upgrade options on visuals/performance etc, with special limited parts becoming available as you win races from the main characters in the game.

An extra challenge series of some 50 set races allowing adds to the single player mode - but generally I would say getting all 100% will set you back 30+ hrs.
This is an excellent arcade racer for a good price that has an open play style of racing and the speed/panic it brings that only a few racers could hope for and in my view is only beaten by Burnour Revenge(at current time) as being king of the arcade racers.

I have had needs for speed carbo on a ps2 but my ps2 went wrong. i now have an xbox360 but don't have the game. but my friend said nfs most wanted was better. according to the i reviews i've read it sounds like an ace game.
some of the cars on this game are more common in reallife than on nfs carbon.
i would highly reaccamond the game!

need for speed most wanted offers a good single player and a not very impresive multiplayer.single player offers a city for you to explore in your car and you can race and earn money to upgrade your car or just buy a new car.you can do millstones that get your bounty up.i like getting a chase from the cops on the game.multiplayer offers a few different tracks and about five different races.
please rate this reveiw and please look at my other reveiws on xbox 360 games.
