Slightly disappointed February 27, 2007 Tara K (London) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
We have all the Buzz games now, this was the last addition to our collection and having waited for weeks it was disappointing. Like other reviewers have said, the questions are difficult and unclear so it's alot of guesswork. But I also found it a slower pace and it's over very quickly. Some of the rounds aren't long enough - the new "Ask A Friend" round is a great idea but only get one each? The Music Quiz & Sports Quiz are miles better and Junior Jungle Party is still the family favourite!!
Great fun for teens and above December 29, 2006 Annette (Isle Of Wight) 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
My eight year old son got this as a present for Christmas and was thrilled at the possibility of challenging the family! However although the choosing of the characters were hilarious with all their funky moves, the game itself proved to be aimed at the older person with rather difficult questions. It didn't have a 'level' option to make it suitable for the whole family. The competetiveness was still there however with 'good guesses' becoming the focus of the game.Would recommend this as a game for a group of competetive adults!
Get it with the pad things August 8, 2006 David Pendegrass (Bournemouth, England) 33 out of 34 found this review helpful
I already had the music quiz, so when this one came out, I got it without the pads. Big mistake! This one lets you plug in TWO sets of pads at once and have up to 8 players at once!!! (unlike the music quiz which you could only use one set).
not as good as last one! April 25, 2006 amy b (England) 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
I do really like this game but it is let down by the occasionally too small pictures and the fact that it doesn't tell you the answers in text for the questions that have pictures for the multiple choice answers. The reason why this is SO annoying is that you can't always see the pictures properly and so do not always know what they are of and so still do not know the answer to the question even when it's given you the answer!! All in all, good fun but I prefer the music quiz. If you do buy this game, make sure you check out Albert Einstein's dance (you can make the characters do different actions by pressing the coloured buttons whilst Buzz is telling you the scores) It had me, my mate and our 10 & 11 year olds in stitches!
A Quality family game April 9, 2006 27 out of 29 found this review helpful
Having played the orginal Buzz, I wasn't sure if the new Buzz game would be as good. How wrong I was to think that. From the clip at the start of the game I knew that this game would be great. Buzz is still the wize cracking host and the game itself has not lost any fun. The game has a few new sections like Hitman. If you are first to get a question right you have the fun but cruel chance to shoot someones life away from them (Ha,ha). The Orignal Buzz levels are still in this version, but now the questions are read to us and some of the questions use pictures and video clips. If you liked the original Buzz game you want be disapointed. It is a great family game that can be played all the time and won't get boring after a few months
