4 out of 5 stars Fantastic fun   September 3, 2007

"Full Auto" is an all-round great game. The graphics are very good, while the realism factor is tempered perfectly with a bit of creative license. The fun-factor is really in full flow here, and "Full Auto" is at it's best when you and a few friends are battling it out in the veritable warzone on-screen.

The career mode is fun in itself, and throws enough incentives at you to keep trying for that best time in each event. The unlockables include more cars and weapon presets, which really provide a sense of reward for your hard work.

Overall, this game is a high four star, and should be at least given a try by every Xbox 360 owner, even if it doesn't really appeal to them at first.

4 out of 5 stars Didn't like it at first, now I love it   April 8, 2007

I downloaded the demo of this last year when I got the 360 and didn't really think anything of it. A long time later it was still there on my hard drive and I thought i'd give it another try, have you ever done that; tried a demo then gave it another chance later on and liked it?

I've always been a fan of the burnout games and basically this is just the same as burnout but with guns too, not a bad idea, although it will never go down as the greatest, it's a fun game, it has all you'd want from a game these days, decent graphics, fast framerate, good gameplay, and now it's selling at a knockdown price, so give it a go if you like fun arcade racers in the style of burnout. I notice there is a sequel just out on the PS3 Full Auto Battlelines. PS if you create another id on your xbox360 and call it magicman every car and track in the game will be unlocked for you when you commence, enjoy!

4 out of 5 stars Excellent   August 1, 2006

GTA3 has awful graphics because it was created for the PS2 buy a bunch of slackers who don't care much for detail and was then ported to the XBox 180 and turned all shiney.

DO NOT WORRY!

Of course Full Auto has far supperior graphics than this, and as for DETAIL:

Not many people are aware of this but pressing down on the D-Pad will give you full control over an action replay so if something amazing happens (as it often does in this game) you can watch it again, in replay mode you are given full camera control of recent events in frame-by-frame as well as fast forward or re-wind.

In frame-by-frame mode the game takes full advantage of the 360's awesome power and you can clearly see your beautiful high definition car crashing, tearing, falling to pieces and then spray various engine parts around the level as you, the driver, will most likely come flying through the windscreen or falling out of a broken door and then falling to the ground and bouncng around with very intelligent rag-doll physics...

It is immensly fun and truely oustanding to see in high definition. It is also very fun to play as you gradually unlock a few more levels, lots more cars, skins and weapons and the achievements to boot!

The only downside I can think of are the levels which can get repetative, after 50% of the game is done the early levels will start re-appearing, but thats not a bad thing with all the newer game modes and tasks, weapons and cars you have to use on them which weren't there the first time.

3 out of 5 stars Not the best game......   June 4, 2006

This game was the first one i bought for my 360 and I must say that my first reaction was "oh no! what have i done!" before franticly scraping round for the receipt- the graphics were far worse than i expected having seen pgr3 and the car and gun combination just seemed a bit......lame.Also, the online feature was less than exciting and just got repetetive. But after a while i found that it was an OK game just to play with a mate every once in a while and even found it to be similar to the "Burnout" series. I'd rate this game better than PGR3 just simply because it's more fun and has more of a thrill to it.
All in all, if you feel you must have a fun racing game, buy this instead of PGR3(unless you prefer realism and car racing without the guns)but otherwise, avoid altogether and buy some thing like Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter or Call of Duty2.

I was hoping for something like GTA3 combined with PGR3; ie great game with great graphics. Not a hope. Mildly amusing game with very poor graphics! Sorry, but not for me
