1 out of 5 stars Avoid this game   December 3, 2008

Posibly one of the worst games of all time on any platform! Looks a lot more fun than it actually is. I bought this thinking that it looked like a bit of retro fun - but it is full of glitches and frustrating sections of play.

I loved Buffy when it used to be on and thought this would be a great little cheap giggle for times when a proper game didn't appeal. Sadly it just doesn't grip you and just isn't funny enough or involving enough to get any 360 time. If dirt cheap in the bargain bin it could be good though..

2 out of 5 stars almost made it,but some fatal flaws ruin this game   January 7, 2008

monster madness is about 4 teenagers who are trying to survive a monster epidemic.the chracters are good together and voice acts are good.there is also a good selection of monsters and weapons.but the graphics are a huge letdown for the Xbox360! they are like a ps2 game!.also the controls are fiddly and the mini missions are really really boring, also once you finish it,there is no repetive value and the ending is rubbish.overall this could have been an excellent game, but the 2001 graphics and short lived life destroy what could have been a great game

1 out of 5 stars Glithched, Never tested and just plain waste of money!   July 16, 2007

The worst xbox 360 game ever! (and ive played bullet witch!)
The game has never been tested for glitches or if you can even complete the game!
I have played it over and over and the amount of glithes ive found is stupid considering they want you to pay 40 for it!
DO NOT i repete DO NOT buy this game! Its 40 worth of plastic disk!

4 out of 5 stars Obviously haven't played it yet, but...   April 2, 2007

...this game looks awesome. The XBox 360 has performed well when reinventing retro games with a twist; 'Geometry Wars', Tetris-progeny 'Lumines! Live!' and more recently 'Assault Heroes' all being classic games updated with modern production values to invigorating effect.

'Monster Madness' looks like a game I lost many hours of my youth to, 'Zombies Ate My Neighbours!' on the SNES. You controlled a kid defending his neighbourhood from a zombie invasion, smoking them with water pistols and garden tools. It was wicked arcade fun with an addictive cop-op, and 'Monster Madness' looks every-inch its' next-gen counterpart.

The cop-op should be great on XBox live, and if the comic-book storyline they're putting on works well, it could be a refreshing single player with online scoreboards to keep it an addiction.

Some of the less 'gun-and-car' games on the XBox have proved to the most rewarding ('Viva Pinata!' is my filthy, filthy sectret) and 'Monster Madness' looks like it could be another strong cult hit.
