3 out of 5 stars Not bad by any means   March 23, 2006

I bought this game for my younger brother and it's actually pretty good. I'm not the biggest fifa fan but this game sits inbetween arcade games and soccer games. There's quite a few tricks you can pull off and I took about two hours to get used to all of the controls and tricks.

The rule the streets game mode is a career mode. I'd suggest setting the difficulty to medium or hard when you start this because it's unlikely that you're going to try the game again once you've completed it on easy. There is some variation between matches, but only as far as difficulty, pitch size and rules are concerned. This is where the game falls.

As I went through the game, I found the matches very repetitive and bland. The actual concept of the game is good and a welcome change from the usual fifa games but a lot of potential has been wasted. EA could have added weather changes, interruption to matches (since this is a street game), tournaments with a few teams etc.

Pros: Nice trick system, good graphics and good game concept.

Cons: Poor music and little game variation.
