Works fine, but shouldn't be necessary July 7, 2004 Jonathan Waterlow 3 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is a perfectly good bit of kit - no problems with it at all. However, it's also totally unnecessary - Microsoft has clearly decided there's more money to be made by forcing the use of memory cards for transferring game data than allowing gamers to just link two Xboxs together using the ethernet ports. There's no reason why all data-transfers can't be done using a cheap bit of ethernet cable - apart from taking your Live accounts with you, the memory card is superfluous kit. I only wanted to transfer my game saves from my Xbox to my brother's. Personally, I don't appreciate being forced to buy still more add-ons for Xbox when I shouldn't have to. But then this is "Micro$oft" we're talking about!

Excellent item received within two days of ordering, in excellent condition. Friendly and helpful service from seller, including email following receipt of order explaining when item would be sent. Highly recommended.
Thanks for the Memory. May 8, 2004 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I needed a cheap memory card to transfer data to my new Crystal Xbox,And this was it.8MB of memory is not massive but it did the job. When you save a game on your hard drive(xbox's built memory storage)it takes up memory blocks, some games use around 3to10 blocks but some use a something like 240 blocks!(spliter cell 1&2 are one of them)depending on how many blocks a game uses results in how many games the unit will hold. The Trustmaster unit holds 502 blocks.Just in case you where woundering No you can not save/Transfer music onto it.
Great value for money May 1, 2004 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I was needing a memory card to transfer some game saves, free up some space. I had 2 choices, the official microsoft memory card or the thrustmaster memory card. I decided to risk it and go with the cheaper one. I decided that if it was bad, i would have only wasted a little money. When it arrived, i wasn't dissappointed, it had a lot of options, including the transfer of data and naming the card. Only bad side is though, 8Mb is not enough for a lot of games, so you may just be able to get 1 or 2 games onto it. Overall, this is great value for money.

Does exactly what it says on the box for a quarter of the price of the official Xbox version! In my opinion that means value for money.Supply was quick and efficient too :)
