Xbox screen January 22, 2005 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After enjoying the superb ps2 joytech screen i was a little disappointed with this xbox version. The colour and definition of the screen is really good, however the picture seems to be a little stretched vertically. Also it cuts off a few lines of the picture at the bottom of the screen. It is still playable but do not expect a perfect picture.

This piece of kit for the xbox is great. No more of those boring journeys in the car becasue now in the back sit you can watch a cool dvd or play halo 2!!!!! some ppl are saying that it isnt a good buy but really it is. The colour is good aswell as the sound. So if you are looking for a great gift this is it.
I think it's great! August 30, 2004 Mr. D. Chandler (Kent, England) 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
Now I for one am quite surprised by some of the reviews on this page. I not sure if the people who ordered this item had earlier models because I have not had any problems with my monitor and I think its a great piece of kit to own.The picture quality is sharp and every last shard of detail comes across brilliantly. Playing Halo on this monitor is just damn well great. The sound quality is also of a good standard and it also features headphone sockets for private gaming. As a bonus you can also plug other electronics into the monitor such as other games consoles, vcr's and dvd players. All in all I think its a worthy purchase. Top Marks.

I was bought one of these for Christmas. I was ecstatic at first but the power pack has developed a problem. It overheats and keeps cutting out at crucial moments in the game. I tried a regular power pack but it doesn't seem to like it much. I'm trying to find a contact for Joytech to enquire about a replacement power pack but so far no joy. Approach with cautiuon!

I was a bit dissapointed with this purchase. The unit is massive and requires an additional electrical supply. The claim of the screen delivering pin sharp quality is completely farfetched. As the screen is constantly flickering and small text is just a blur. Its one saving grace is it's sound which is remarkably good. All in all, after having the Ps1 with the official screen and seeing the superb quality of it; I am left somewhat numb.
