Does the job January 3, 2008 Mr. N. Mckenzie We got this as a replacement for the PSP original battery, which completely died. The new one has worked for many months without problems and appears to last a bit longer than the original. Had no problems fitting it into the PSP.
Stay Clear November 28, 2007 Sci-fi Freak I dealt with the company directly (codejunkies) to get this item. Couldnt get the damn thing to charge at all. Several abtteries and complaints later still no working battery or refund. Stay clear.
Poor replacement battery June 28, 2007 Steiner (Glasgow) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I also have the problems with this battery that the other reviewer has mentioned. The battery sometimes needs to be removed and re-seated to get it to work. It also requires a bit of effort to get the battery cover on the PSP when using it. It's not all bad, because when inserted properly it does not cut out in the middle of a game or video. Because of the issues though I would only recommend this if it was a fraction of the cost of the original Sony battery.
Just a replacement battery for backup February 9, 2007 Z. Lei (UK) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I bought this battery as replacement as I need to travel everyday. The price is quite fair as if you buy this battery in [...], which is the only place have the spare battery for PSP in my city, you need to pay [...]. Unfortunately, there are 2 issues with this battery, at least with mine. Firstly, the profile of this one is a little bit higher than original battery, maybe 0.3 or 0.4 mm. Therefore it's very hard to put PSP back cover on and I worry about it might be damage the backcover in the long run. Secondly, sometimes when the battery is fully charged, the PSP cannot be turn on though. I have to remove and reinstall the battery to turn on the PSP. All unsaved games are lost!!! Such issue happened several times after I used this replacement battery in 2 weeks, but with original battery, it never happened. Therefore, if you want a perfect replacement battery for your PSP, I recommended to buy original parts.
