remedy funded this game themselfs until microsoft came in with thier blankchecks. the game is funded by around 70% microsoft money so there is more chance of rasputin rising from the grave than a ps3 version of alan wake

There is a lot of speculation about this game. The trailer and other footage looks very promising indeed. Max Payne recieved great praise on its release in terms of its inovation. It seems likely that this game will be a winner.

Microsoft are keen for this to be an exclusive and obviously have great expectations for it. That said, Grand Theft Auto III was a PS2 exclusive that eventually did the rounds on PC and XBOX. I would not be surprised to see Alan Wake on PS3. Take 2 Interactive is a company independent of Microsoft. Surely its in the company's interest as well as the gamers to launch it on both consoles.

We will see! All this squabbling about which console will get which games! Everybody should be friends!

I was looking really forward to this game but it turns out it's only coming out on 360 and pc (Windows Vista only)and is currently set to be released sometime in 2008 not september as amazon have said. Do your homework amazon this isn't the first time. But if you've got a 360 or pc with vista on it get this game.

5 out of 5 stars No show on PS3   May 10, 2007

This game is being published by Microsoft game Studios so there isn't a chance of it appearing on the PS3. Amazon are really not doing their homework and will let people down by leaving this game up for pre-order.

5 out of 5 stars ...It's not going onto the PS3   April 21, 2007

This game is published by Microsoft Game Studios. Take Two does not have anything to do with this game. The developers (Remedy) only had dealings with the Max Payne franchise last (which was published by Take Two) and the last event that happened between those two was Remedy selling the rights of the Max Payne franchise to Take Two to fund the development of this game.

It is published by MS Game Studios, meaning there is no chance at all of a PS3 game being made.
