4 out of 5 stars Class entertainment   November 14, 2007

I have just bought this for my son, so my husband and I thought we'd give it a go - just to make sure it was all working. I haven't laughed so hard in ages. I can't wait to watch my kids playing it.

I found the games easy to play. The element of fun comes from seeing yourself on screen and having to physically do the actions.

I think the EyeToy is genius!

4 out of 5 stars not bad   October 13, 2006

the games are good and fun for the family. But the motion is rubbish and you need like a whole memory card to save all of them.

5 out of 5 stars Best game ever played... and good for me!!   July 14, 2006

I'm 12. Yesterday I went to my best friend's house and went on her Eye Toy: Play 3. It is amazing! There was lots of games like bell ringing, hoop a duck, grabbing ghosts and LOADS more. The athletics had running, hurdles, long jump and two sports I got a record on, javelin and discus. You can take pictures of yourself and watch yourself moving on screen. Every game takes pictures of you too!
The playroom was fun too. There was a hall of mirrors, a thing that turns your room into a jungle until you move, a boxing match where you can punch and kick but NO-ONE gets hurt at all. I enjoyed putting my eyes, nose and mouth onto my friends face (face mixer) and then she put her head on mine so when I moved around I walked with her face on, not mine! (head swap)
Everything was so fun I didn't want to stop. Then my friend's brother (who owned the PS2) wanted to go on so we had too. But we must have been doing it for about an hour and a half. It's not just fun for people my age though, my friend's family had played it too and everyone loves it.
That's why I'm on amazon now. I WANT IT TOO!!!

If you do not get this game you are missing out the most fun game ever - that even is healthy!

5 out of 5 stars Christmas Number 1   December 28, 2005

This game has been the hit of this Christmas with our 7 year old son. We have laughed and laughed and also kept fit into the bargain. A great family game to play alone or with up to four people, everything from ten pin bowling, to a full athletics tournament along with a few slightly less energietic games. Could highly recommend.

1 out of 5 stars Eye Toy Play 3 is extremely irritating!   December 28, 2005

What a mess! On the box it says '50 games' but you must agree to save over slot 1 of your memory stick for it to remember anything (I've got something else on slot 1, 'play 3' doesn't let you select another slot). Once it starts, it gives a choice of 'tournament' in which it selects the games for you (no option to skip games you don't want to play). Also, if making the wrong choice, you can't go back, you need to reset the PS2 and start all over again ... the 'quick play' option allows selection of game, but some of the games have bugs and reset back to game selection ... in short, we tried to make this thing work, then put it back in the box and sent it to Amazon. This game is not usable and should have never been released! Highly unrecommended!!!
