I have enjoyed many poker games with my favorite I guess being Deluxe Casino that had a World Series game in it. I even pushed hard to get this game as I was hoping it would improve on the AI of Deluxe while still giving the feel of playing a big poker tournament.
There are many faults with this game. Firstly the poker opponent AI sucks and even the sitting display is poor. You have to click on every hand even if you fold and the whole user interface is weak. To top it off they got lazy. You may start in a tournament with many players but at a certain point the game just cuts the numbers and seems to spread the chips out of those it drops amongst the remaining players (not including you) and your left to play against opponents who suddenly have a large chip advantage. Fortunately the AI is so bad you can, if you haven't switched off in disgust already, play a tight game and still with a little luck win.
All in all this is a very poorly made piece of software that is trying to cashin on the current poker crazy. Save your money for a more deserving title where they have actually done some work and tested their product.
