If you like films such as underworld or the crow, and music such as tool or a perfect circle, this'l be worth the money.
Its a revenge story, with a twist, zombie like undead, renegade cops, the mafia and a huge shot of darkness follwed by demonic powers: admitted to you against your will.
Bought with low expectations, certainly delivered more than what was advertised. So far great story, wonderfull effects, oh and plug into a stereo if you can and the atmosphere will be stunning.

i was'nt sure about buying this, the blurb didnt seem all that interesting, just another "horror" game so i put off buying it, but then saw it in gamestation for a tenner so took a chance on it and... what a game!
this game is just such fun to play and the storyline is great too, the little side-missions you find yourself doing in the subway are fun to pass time too, such as where you have to pick up the coins from the tracks before a train hits you just to win the bet with the little old lady that you can actually do it! (that itself took me about 20 attempts...)
you should buy this game, for sure, it has everything, and at a low price too now, itll leave you wanting more

Wow, I bought this very cheaply earlier this week and have been ploughing through it at nearly every spare hour I have. It is basically a first person shooter with a well scripted story, its not as epic as halo but far more personal. The graphics are excellent, dark but it is still possible to play without being too dark. The Darkness itself is an excellent gaming tool, it justifies super human powers and gives the story a strong narrative. I won't give away details of the plot, save for that , IT AIN'T FOR KIDS. this is 18 material through and through. The controls are well laid out and very smooth, the plot compelling and it manages to be cinematic without being too linear.

Let me get this straight...reviewers who have given this game 5 stars obviously have not played many games. Dont get me wrong..the game is ok...but 5 stars..get real! The graphics are average, the game play is average but the story, i suppose is quite good. Personally i didnt enjoy it that much and never completed it...the price at the moment on Amazon though, probably would make it worth a buy.

i was'nt expecting too much from this budget game but was impressed by the graphics sound and longevity of the game. i was hooked for 4 weeks. only downfall is loading takes a while but don't let that put you off!!
