I am old enough to have played nearly all the Madden games, from the early efforts with generic stickmen running around, to the modern game, and this one is fantastic. Just as a sports game, it shows how to turn a sport into a playable console game, whereas others have struggled (such as Rugby and Cricket). The game is set up so you can keep it simple, or can crank it up to hard level, and you can design your own plays, if you wish, or use pre-set ones.
If you love NFL, you will love this.The new superstar mode is also a nice innovention, to play alongside your season campaigns.
Great game all round.

Oh man!! this is most definetly the best Madden game and NFL game ever made. The new features make the game so much more in depth if that's possible. Graphically this is the best sports game available. It's a shame soccer games aren't of the same quality. The cpu teams AI is much improved on the previous outings and there is no winning by 100 points anymore which makes the game so much more realistic
RECOMMENDED.

I recently ordered this game with high expectations. I have enjoyed the rest of the madden series hugely and was very excited when it came. Unfortunately, i was dissapointed. I traded it in to the local game store within 2 days because i was so fed up.
The game has bad graphics. The create a player is incredibly stupid and simplistic. And the rest of the modes are either untouched ro ruined.
And the QB visionis the nail in the coffin. It completely ruins the game by making it impossible to make a pass with a less talented QB and ensuring that every pass by a more talented one is incomplete (No matter how many people are covering the reciever or how far away they are)

madden is a really good game with lots of features. its realism i s outstanding and its set up is good the best feature bfl superstar where u start from scratch getting drafted and u try to become a superstar. This is a great game and i wud highly recomend it

without doubt this is the best madden, if not american fotball game ever made. the new passing system is great and there is so much control over the offense and the defense. don't be a fool and miss out on one of the great american football games!!!
