3 out of 5 stars Guitar Hero, Not Totally   April 12, 2008

I bought this and followed the instructions as below and it only half works. The fret bits of the guitar all work and are activated but it treats it as a strum when you press them so you really don't use your right hand for strumming at all, which is a pretty important feature so unless there's something else that anyone knows of to fix that I wouldn't bother.

Though for not needing a Sixaxis controller it'd be spot on.

5 out of 5 stars Rock on in 5 colours   September 7, 2007

Brillant does exactly what you need it to and works with Guitar hero

BUT there is a BUT

whenu plug it in Hold down Select and start and push the strum up this will activate the controller.

when you click on the game and after the ps2 logo has been up and the game starts you will have to do that again. then Hold down Select and the green button for 3 secs. this activates all 5 colours. BUT

the main button is not green. its orange. to go back hold down select start and orange. is long winded but well worth it

1 out of 5 stars no guitar hero this one   August 22, 2007

Unfortunatley I bought this just to play guitar hero on my PS3 and it doesnt work with the guitar. all of the buttons are misaligned, press the red and the blue works on screen. A shame that its primary purpose is to allow old contollers to be pluged into the shiney new ps3. I wouldnt use an old dual shock on the ps3 anyway, why would you? Not wireless or 6 axis.

Disppointing

5 out of 5 stars Great product and saves 20 by not needing a sixaxis!   July 6, 2007

This is a great item as it enables u to use a ps2 controller on any ps3 game. It has 4 lights just like the sixaxis which shows which number controller u r, It is a shiny black just like the ps3, Definitely worth buying if you dont want spend 30 on a sixaxis.or are waiting for the sixaxis with rumble which will be out later this year.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent   July 1, 2007

Does exactly what it says on the tin and relatively cheap as well.

The only minor issue I had was when playing Six-axis games... on Resistance, if you catch fire, you are supposed to shake the controller to put yourself out. Obviously shaking a PS2 controller doesn't do anything, but I found that jiggling the thumbsticks seems to do the trick.
