Amazon.co.uk Review If you're still suffering the lingering effects of Pac-Man fever, you'll be excited to hear that Namco's Pac-Man Collection repackages the infectious original with three other Pac-Man-themed games in a new anthology for the Game Boy Advance. Pac-Man Collection contains the original Pac-Man, plus Pac-Attack, PacMania 3D, and the never-before-seen-out-of-the-arcade Pac-Man Arrangement game. Pac-Man plays just like you remember, and like Namco Museum's picture-perfect re-creation of Ms Pac-Man, it features spot-on control, graphics, cartoon cut-scenes, sound effects and, best of all, music from the coin-op (who can forget that opening theme?). As such, it's easily the best of this collection. PacMania 3D is basically a 3-D version of the original, and is just about as uninspired now as when it came out. Pac-Attack is a cool variation on such puzzlers as Tetris and Columns, and as such it's perfect for handheld gaming. Pac-Man Arrangement is an odd little game that plays much like the original but adds weird power-ups that, for example, make you gigantic. Because Pac-Man Collection contains perfect replicas, there isn't much to gripe about, save that Ms Pac-Man is a far better game than the original, and you'll have to shell out for Namco Museum if you want that one. But if you're a retro gamer on the go who also want to track down ghosts and eat power pills, this package is sure to satisfy your appetite. --Andrew S Bub

A game that will keep you coming back for more. August 26, 2002 35 out of 37 found this review helpful
When i first bought this game i was unsure whether it would live up to what i wanted. But after some dot eating and ghost chasing exercise, i wasn't disappointed. There are 4 games in the one cartridge. Pac-man, Pac-attack, Pacmania and pac-man arrangement. If you are a Pac-man addict, you'd love this game, and if you're not, i still believe you should have a go in the dot eating scheme of things. My favourite is Pac-man arrangement, where you don't only have to deal with bigger and badder ghosts, but also a variety of delightful mazes. And tie this in with the catchy tune you are sure in for a treat. I was a Pac-man addict, but now after playing this game i am a Pac-manoholic. My advice is buy it and enjoy!!!
The yellow blob returns February 17, 2002 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
Pacman has had a serious makeover. his yellow skin is Yellow again and as bright as ever. This game shows the best of our best buddy pacman and his fight to get those little dots (+ everyone wonders what an aweful lot of trouble he goes to to get them). He plays in four highly addictive game modes: Old, Fairly new, as 3d as pacman goes + A puzzle thing that reminds me of tetris. If puzzles are your game PACMAN COLLECTION is your game. WARNING: Can be highly repetitive. Not for people that get bored easily!
Pacmania! December 18, 2001 21 out of 22 found this review helpful
Having previously owned an old Acorn computer and a version of the old Pacman game, I was so pleased to see that when I bought my brand new Game Boy Advance that I could but a new version. I have long been searching for a decent PC version, but failed to find one. The Advance game is superb. Not only does it have the great Pacmania version, but also three other games included. The puzzle game is like a simple Tetris game, and even the very simple arcade version is great fun and highly addictive! It was a great choice as my first game, but I haven't been able to put it down. I am determined to beat those ghosts in the end!!!
