Sonic 3- The Best Sonic Game Ever!! April 3, 2005 Reviewer (UK, Dundee) 5 out of 11 found this review helpful
To tell the truth I have never played any other sonic game, but this was great! I was amazed at the graphics and I also liked how you can pick two characters at once. I can't say much else because everyone else has shared my views exactly, this game rocks!
It's a Sonic The Hedgehog game. Enough said January 23, 2005 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I've been a BIG fan of Sonic the Hedgehog since I was about 3 years old, and I still can't find any faults with any of the games in the series! This is definitely Sonics best GBA (GameBoy Advance)game on the market at the moment. The team feature allows you to change the characters actions, giving the game a great amount of variation. The amount of teams that can be created means you'll be finding new moves and cool new tricks for weeks after you started. It's not too easy to complete to quickly, and not too hard to get bored of quickly or so that kids can't complete it. The ending when you have all 7 chaos emeralds, although I won't give anything away, is very interesting if you own the game 'Sonic Battle', which I strongly recomend you do if you want to realy understand whats happening. Overall this is a great game for any game fan, it's fast, action packed and great fun. Just what you come to expect from Sonic Team.
A must have game for any child. November 8, 2004 26 out of 30 found this review helpful
A must have game if you are buying a Gameboy for a child. My son is 5 and Sonic keeps him amused for hours. It is very easy for a child to play and unlike quite a few other childrens games, there is no reading to be done. I have also bought this game for presents for an 8 year old and a 6 year old and both of them say that this is their favourite game.
The fastest 2D Sonic title ever! October 16, 2004 Ben (Hertfordshire, England) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Sonic Advance 3, the fifth title in Sonic's range of Game Boy Advance entertainment is absolutely fantastic. The pace of the game is truly the fastest I have ever seen, each character accelerates very quickly. This game features a unique partnership feature, better than the Sonic Heroes type I'd say, because it's your choice as to who you want to play as. To start out, only Sonic & Tails will be avalible, or it can be Tails & Sonic if you want! But as you progress through the story with Sonic as the lead player, you will unlock Knuckles, Amy and Cream. Each duo has a range of unique moves which give advantages and disadvantages, it's up to you to choose the right characters to help you through the obstacles in each of the 3 acts of the 7 zones. For some brief examples... if Knuckles is your partner, your main character's abilities will be more powerful or power orientated.. such as Amy's HUGE mallet. With Tails as a partner, you can get Tails to fly and carry you, just like in Sonic 3! This game is definetely worth buying for high speed thrills and any Sonic fan!
Sonic Advance 3 July 22, 2004 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Sonic is back in his newest GBA hit. The newest option is the multiple character choice. It is a bit complicated, however, as duos unlock certain powers, like when you hve Amy with you, which unlock everyone's Hammer Attack. Another thing is you can access the levels, boss attacks and bonus levels from sort of a special road outside the game, in each zone. This time, Eggman has used the chaos Emeralds to split the world into seven parts, and he's seeking to make each his own empire, and it's Sonic's time again to send him back to where he came from (you'd know the drill by know!). The bosses can be hard, especially in Zone 4, so I hope that a Strategy Guide comes out soon!
