Splintercell is the best! Ever since i got it its been a greaat challenge and im only on level 4! but i still like it! if you think that splinter cell gets boring, then go to youtube and type "splinter cell bob and steve" and you will find the funniest splintercell movies your arse has ever seen!

5 out of 5 stars Another Superb Installment!   October 3, 2006

Here we have another superb installment from the Splinter Cell franchise.

This whole series, I find, is the sort of thing you will either absolutely love, or just not like at all. For me it is the former for sure!

Here we have, basically, "more of the same" as in the previous games, only much improved AI when it comes to your enemies and environment; far bigger levels; more complex riddles and puzzles. As always, the rendering, and attention to detail are superb, and the graphics are simply a beauty to behold. I play it on my new top-of-the range LCD TV and it send shivers down my spine!!

There are also some fun touches too, especially some of the things said to Sam over his intercom. I like the goading that Sam is getting old (a hint that this is the end of the line for this character perhaps?)

I think you will LOVE this game if:
You liked either of the previous ones. If you enjoy stealth games. Hiding in shadows, moving ah-so slowly to avoid detection. Solving puzzles. Can you temporarily disable the CCTV Camera for long enough to sneak past the guard quietly, hack into the computer behind him, and make it into the next shadow before the CCTV is back on-line? these are the sort of skills you'll need in this game.

If you want to go running around with an Uzi (or similar), blowing up everyone and everything in sight, the this is NOT the game for you!!! Having said that, give it a go anyway. It is so utterly absorbing that, like me, you may not be able to tear yourself away!!

4 out of 5 stars OMG the graphics!   February 27, 2006

I don't know what ubisoft have done but the graphics engine for this edition of Sam Fisher stealth is fantastic. This becomes immediately apparent in the first level sitting on the beach below a lighthouse. The way the moonlight reflects from the wet rocks, the sheer level of detail in the colour and hue of your surroundings. Gameplay is varied and exciting, there are normally two ways to travel through parts of a level and achieve ones objectives. The rating that you get for each level at the end is incentive to go back and do it all again to achieve that nice sounding 100% rating for being one sly person. Thank you for listening and good night.

4 out of 5 stars SUPRISING AND SNEAKY! WAIT WHAT WAS THAT?! URGH!!!   September 3, 2005

I don't need a maximum of 1000 words to describe this game. It's ace and I like doing inverted neck breaks on stupid guards who follow the noise in the dark. Next thing... whing, thriwp, aaaaaaaaaaaaarrghhhhhhhhhhhhh!
CLASSIC PIECE OF GAMING YOU CAN'T MISS!
