Haven't received a valid code yet May 8, 2008 David Hobson (England) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've bought 2 of these from this site, the second one being a replacement, and both times the code has been invalid.

Microsoft allow you to buy points via your credit card details and also by buying these points cards. These cards are ideal to give as a present to allow the receiver to buy items off the XBox 360 shop ie extras to games eg like more songs for Guitar Hero III/II or to download movies. They make an alternative type of present to a high street voucher.
Almost a necessity to get most out of your xbox ... although .... August 26, 2007 Low-Quality (London England) 6 out of 11 found this review helpful
Even though X-box 360 is a great console ..... despite the horror of it's high likelihood of the console itself to stop working early in it's lifespan ....... you pretty much have to pay for everything ...... and i mean almost every little crumb ..... Even after you pay extra money to get yourself a gold suscription card so a single player account has access to online play ..... you still do not have full access to online content .... That's right in order to be able to access alot of extra content ..... you have to buy a points card which ( or you can be a real idiot and just sign up your credit card to your player account and pay for it there ) gives you limited credit to purchase content for your hard drive. How much is this credit worth in real money and what you can spend it on ? Let me tell you : 18 gets you 2100 microsoft market points. This means every 1 gets you 116 points. The main things you wan to purchase are extra content for your games like map packs for multiplayer shooters for example and arcade games that can be downloaded onto your hard drive. Typical prices are 800 points and 400 points. So you won't really be buying much for what you get with the card. You'll probably end up buying multiple cards , if you want more content. But keep in mind alot of downloadble content becomes free after a while. Alot of map packs tend to become free after a few months ...... but arcade games always seem to cost. A lot of arcade games are new/fun and worth the money .... but so many are just retro games from classic systems ... that you could buy for much cheaper as part of compliation retro packs on psp or ps2.... The market place also charges points for things as pety as gamer pictures ( like avatars : small pictures for your gaming profile ) and dashboard themes ( like wallpapers for your desktop .... which end up getting obstructed anyway due to advertisements on your console .... ) Paying pounds for mere image files ..... how greedy can a company be ? When was the last time you paid money to download a mere image onto your PC ??? .... did you pay for that avatar you use at your favourite internet forums ??? ..... did you pay for the wallpaper on your PC desktop that pretty much nobody else sees anyway ??? .....that's what I thought ..... By the way : Gamer-pictures / multi-packs of gamer-pictures cost : 50-200 points. Dashboard themes cost: 100-300 points. Paying pounds for a few measley image files really does seem out of order .... but that's corporate greed for you .... Anyway with all the moaning and all .... buying these cards is the only way to get stuff out of reach if you don't pay for extra content .... although being patient sometimes pays off as some content becomes free later ..... But in the end owning a 360 is becoming an increasingly expensive ordeal , even for console gaming , if you want the best stuff fast .....
RIP OFF!!!!! June 28, 2007 crazy meerkat (England, UK) 14 out of 51 found this review helpful
You've already spent 280 on a console 40-50 per gamee, 60 on a wireless bridge, 40 for live membership and microsoft still want another 20 for two game dowloads, why should you pay this much fair enough they have developing costs but this is just microsoft ripping you off don't buy this if no-one buys this you'll force microsoft onto lowering the price.

So, it seems to me that Microsoft is on their knees begging for some cash. Well unfortunately with this card, I think they are going to get their request! This card allows you to buy goods and items from the XBox Live Marketplace, if you have XBox Live. You can buy games such as Marble Blast Ultra, Zuma, Uno, Bejewelled 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1989 Arcade), Frogger and much more! It doesn't end there as you can also buy Music Videos, Game Videos, Pictures, Game-Tracks, Demos and yet even more! Although this sounds tasty, it doesn't satisfy the needs as you only have 2100 Points per card and most games cost 800 Points for a Full Version purchase. This means that you can only roughly get 2 Games per card! I did some rough calculations and for 60 Arcade Games all at 800 Points each. It will cost you 650!! That's the same as if you wanted Two Playstation 3 Consoles! So, you can tell that Microsoft is the scavenger! My Grade For The Card: 5.5/10: Mediocre, Could Be Better, Not Bad But Not Brilliant My Wish: I think for a price of 20, they should do a Points Card of 2,100,000 Points. I mean what can you exactly get with just 2100 Points? Final Comments: It may be annoying going to the shop all the time and spending 20 just to get one of these cards, but if are intending to get games, pictures and videos for you're XBox 360, I'm afraid you're going to have to get a few of these. Just make sure you pick up a few. Otherwise you may miss your chance! It's a race for cards!! Review By Captain Chris Kipper!
