Fun at its best! July 10, 2008 Mr. Mark F. Stanbury (USA) This game is the sort of game you just have to complete because you want to. To be honest I wasn't exactly interested in the storyline but the graphics, creatures, music and landscapes made me buy this game. It has a lot of fun value but I wouldn't play it again only because you can remember the whole game and you know whats coming next... it just gets boring! Overall a fun game but in my view it has no playback value because its extremely dull once you've completed it.

What can I say apart from Res evil 4 is the most absorbing, addictive and fun game i have ever had the plesure of playing. This is not an exagerated statement! After being struck down with the flu over Christmas I was bed bound and bored so needed some entertainment--I found it. Has supassed Ocorina Of Time (Zelda) as my new fovorite video game.
best resident evil game December 19, 2007 james bouchier (wales) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
resident evil game are crap, but this an exception. ive even seen umbrella chronicles on the wii, and thats even worse the ZERO, but resident evil 4 is the best horror game i have ever played, simply because it is first person, it is nt limited, so you can wander around killing zombies in the first village . the ending boss is rather easy , but the first time i saw my 2 different friends playing this game, i was scared , and im 15! but it grows on you, and after i while it stops being scary and becomes fun. amazing game buy it if u like horror games!!!
Phenomenal! July 18, 2007 Mr. D. W. Kenrick (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As mentioned in another review's title, this HAS to be the game of the generation. [ok slightly premature but its so damn good] Remember all those things that annoyed you from the original resident evil games [REmake and Zero] - such as that annoying aiming system, clunky controls and confusing camera angles? Well it's all gone - the camera is conveniently over-the-shoulder, theres a brilliant and precise aiming system [often complete with laser sight] and the controls are much smoother. There's more room to carry items, in your attache case rather than a simple six-slot system, and there's no item boxes to be running about like a headless chicken trying to restock from. A helpful merchant is on hand to buy any valuables you might find [yes, not all of them are required for some complex puzzle!] allowing you to accrue cash to tune your weapons up to the max. In true Resi style there's a range of terrifying monsters to do battle with, from the sort-of-familiar [but fast!] Los Ganados to the the uttely terrifying Del Lago and Regenerator monsters to the downright freaky - I'll give you 20000 pesetas if you tell me what was in that wriggling bag! The story is again interesting and whilst not featuring my favourite evil corporation [you can't get enough of them either right? Well apparently they went bankrupt =(] it still managed to keep me hooked and interested. So yes - better controls, smarter enemies, more immersive gameplay, 3d environments to interact with, chainsaw guys!, the Merchant, some pretty heavy duty firepower. AND it's Resi - seriously, what more could you want from a game?
Worth it just for Mercenaries June 14, 2007 Samuel Sonne 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This game has a great story and a great play experience, but I think its shining jewel is the Mercenaries minigame. It's tons of fun to play as Wesker and do shinkyo kicks.
