Unimpressed August 11, 2008 E. Vernon (UK) I recently bought this game and the dance mat together, being new to the 'dance experience' I thought I would buy this game because I like RnB/hip hop songs. I was extremely excited once I had bought it and couldn't wait for it to arrive in the post. Unfortunately, when I loaded it up on my PS2 I was very dissappointed by it. I only knew a few of the songs, it steps don't seem to go with the time of the music and I was bored with it after 15 minutes. I think to do the dance mat justice you need up-tempo tunes, don't bother with this street dance game, go for something like Dance Factory
best to stick to the 'dancing stage' game series May 30, 2008 mr che t ho (bristol, united kingdom) workout section is WAY too difficult and even the medium level on the 'single player' mode is too hard for the average intermedate dance game enthusiast (like me). because of how they have designed the graphics, it's tricky lining up each moving arrow to the corresponding still arrow before pushing the appropriate dance mat button to score points, i was missing lots of steps even on the easiest level! it's better to stick to the konami series of 'dancing stage' games (got 2 titles) where the graphic layout make it easier to step on the arrows correctly meaning it's more fun and addictive. che t ho (mr)
waste of time August 16, 2007 Ailsa (Scotland <3) Honestly. I found this game in a shop. Thought it looked pretty decent so i bought it as I had lost my previous "dance:uk" game. There isn't alot of moves and it isn't a good game at all. I would never recommend it to anyone! If you want a dance mat/game the only decent makes out there that I've found so far have been "logic3 dance dance dance" and "dance:uk". Hope this helped someone x.
Get Jiggy With It!! March 21, 2007 emarie (UK) 16 out of 19 found this review helpful
I have just purchased this game from Amazon after hours of comparing various different products and I have to say I'm not disappointed. There is a fairly good selection of music (although not huge), 3 game play levels and a workout mode (which is near on impossible to keep up with but thats why it's a workout!!). There is also a high score board for each level allowing you to compete with others even if you only have one dance mat. Would definitely recommend!
