Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.co.uk Review
Pokémon Pinball Mini is, exactly as the name suggests, a miniature version of the Game Boy Color's Pokémon Pinball. That game was an excellent handheld version of everyone's favourite beer-resting device, and apart from the two main pinball tables it also had a number of inventive bonus games featuring more abstract variations on hitting a ball bearing into a hole. Pokémon Pinball Mini greatly expands on these bonus games to fill a whole cartridge with 90 of the head-scratchingly addictive fellas. The game's main Quest mode contains the lion's share of the tables, with 70 different stages that must be played through sequentially. These mini pinball tables generally involve you either getting a ball into each of the many holes or scoring a number of points within a set time limit. There are also special levels where you can catch new Pokémon to use as plungers and the whole thing has a surprising amount of subtle control thanks to some realistic-looking ball physics. There are two other game modes, Time Attack and Score Attack, each of which has an extra 10 tables to play. It's hardly the deepest of gaming experiences but Pokémon Pinball Mini is nevertheless a lot of fun, and addictive enough to brighten up many a dull bus journey.--David Jenkins

4 out of 5 stars Best game for the system   August 8, 2002

I picked up this game with the system. It is a cool 1 player game and shows off the system well. First of all it plays one handed with a single button. While this is far more simple than the GBC pokemon pinball it works well as you only have one 'flipper'.

Also you get to unlock different pokemon flippers as you progress through the different screens.

I haven't progressed too far yet but the challenge is definitely there.

If you are looking to get a good game for teh Pokemon Mini to replace the poor Party Mini that came with the system then this is it. Great for Adults and Children alike.

5 out of 5 stars The Mini's   March 18, 2002

Pokemon Mini Pinball is really a smaller version of the real thing. The amazing thing is that the cartrige size has just been reduced. If you try to fit it into a Game Boy it just wont fit!
This product with the console is great if you want to play on the move!

This very small game has over 90 screens and very hard to bet, The aim is to shoot balls with a plunger into as many pockets. Try to beat the high scroes of the different stages. If you catch a pokemon in quest you get more types of plungers. But the more you play the harder it gets. Very addictive and fun to play.
