| Customer Reviews:
For the price, it's great August 17, 2008 Mr. F. D. Sykes Got this since it seemed like some fun and something to add a little more to party background music. I've given it five stars, since for the princely sum less than fifty pounds (i.e. less than you would normally pay for just the mixer) this gives you the ability to learn a bti while producing some more than just a mix tape performances. To put it into summary - the pros and cons: Pros - Wireless, so you can move about a bit/it doesn't clutter up the desk any more than all the other stuff plugged into a PC - With a little knowledge, it helps you to string together tracks better than you would do with proper DJ kit (it does quite a lot for you, if you want it to) - Loops and some basic sound effects easily applied - A lot of fun! - Installation quick, and package supplied does not take up lots of space. - Works with MP3's and WMA's (tested so far) Cons - It's not a pro DJ set up. Someone will mention no doubt it doesn't suit a proper DJ environment or someone who can give abuse scratching - Scratching on the jog wheels will only really produce a scrathesque sound, rather than the verstility that you may be used to scractching vinyl - If you want to use preview functions, then make sure you have 2 outputs on your sound card, or you can use a 'mix output' to the left speaker and a 'preview output' to the right. - Knock the jog wheels and kiss your mix goodbye (temporarily) - or use the hold jog wheels switch... All in all, for the money - it's five stars from this user.
