Mac caution September 11, 2008 Zappa (SOT Rainbow) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Good value. Only caution is that it needs to be formatted to work with a Mac which is easy if you are good with tech. I'm not but the mac forum helped me through..

Having previously been stung by a Freecom 8GB memory stick I have a slight thing against Freecom but this looked like it was what I wanted for what I wanted to pay and it is indeed a very neat wee unit. Plugged straight in and off we went. 111GB usable. Backed up loads of photos and transfer speeds quite acceptable too so lets hope it behaves better than its memory stick wee brother. So far, so good.
Have had two of these and both been faulty. September 2, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Very disappointed, can accept one being faulty but not two and both with different faults. Have been using a 30Gb Freecom for ages without any problems. Will look elsewhere for another brand.Freecom Mob.DriveClassic 2.5" 120GB USB2
Surprisingly tough and long lasting August 22, 2008 Mr. K. Watson (Co. Antrim, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've had this external hard drive for about a year and its been absolutely fine, with no hardware problems. Its even took its fair share of getting knocked around! Although I would maybe recommend something with more Gigabytes if you are into movies or the like, 120Gb is rather small if this is the case...
Does what it says on the tin August 20, 2008 D. McDonald-Lee 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Plugged it in to my XP and was recognised straight away. Quick transfers for files, took about 10 minutes to transfer over 5gig for me. Very useful for any type of student who needs something more substantial than just a USB.
