Does the job wellJuly 21, 2008 Graham Lockwood(Haywards Heath West Sussex UK) The last reviewer says the discs can't be played anywhere else but I think they have overlooked the obvious. I record on them using my Panasonic DVD recorder and then play them back and transfer them to hard drive using my computer. Most modern computer DVD disc drives will play RAM discs. They are an effective alternative to DVD rewritable discs.
A dying format. Not worth buying Ram discs!July 6, 2008 Track Master(UK) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I would not even bother to waste money in buying Panasonic's favorite format the DVD-Ram, which is a dying format. This DVD-Ram will not play anywhere unless you have a particular/specific DVD Ram player/recorder that would play them such as the Panasonic brand. Do not entrust all your recordings to this format becuase it will not play on any machine and if your Panasonic player should fail at some point, how are you going to transfer your most treasured stuff to an ordinary DVD?
Product great, supplier not! (postage rip off)August 25, 2007 Anthony C. Buck 20 out of 22 found this review helpful
Good quality disc, but NOT the bargain it seems. You pay 16 postage for 4 discs - no wonder they are only 0.49!
