One To Avoid. March 6, 2008 Mr. J. Flindell (England) I purchased this cable purely because of its length. Seeing as it was Belkin, a reputable name, combined with the fact it was labelled 'Gold Series' meant I didn't hesitate in buying this item. However, you should. Even through a Nvidia 8800 GT the cable produced horrible ghosting on the screen. However, when I replaced the cable for another, the ghosting disappeared. Therefore the cable is of inferior quality and defiantly not worthy of a 'Gold Series'. Spend just a few Pounds more a buy a quality cable to save yourself having to buy another.
Its all down to you set up! January 17, 2008 Mr. A. J. Porter 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
After buying a TV I thought I would hook it upto my PC, this cable is superb no ghosting, perfect picture and works great. What people do not understand is it is down to your PC graphics card settings and you TV if your TV is not a great model and your graphics card is poor for like a built in laptop model then you will experiance problems on some computers. Just do your research do not buy something and expect it to be perfect if your spec does not support or can handle being hooked upto a TV. What I did have a problem with was the male to female I needed a cable that was Male to Male this was solved by buying a sex chnager off amazon to male to male this worked fine.
Does the job just fine. August 19, 2007 30sumat (127.0.0.1, Bradford, UK.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As another reviewer said, the existing cable I had was to short and I was a little dubious about picture quality over 5m, but to be honest, it's just fine with no ghosting, and this is more flexible and thinner than my previous one.
Ghosty June 9, 2007 A. Gowland (UK) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Bought one of these to connect the laptop to the HDTV. I'd tried it out with an old cable I already had, and the picture was pixel sharp, but the cable was far too short. This cable though produced a horrible ghosted image, which is fairly useless to me. If this is the "gold" series I'd hate to see what sort of picture you get from their cheaper cables.
