3 out of 5 stars Look at OTG in the description   June 18, 2008

I have a similar OTG adapter that works well. I am not an an expert but I understand that USB On The Go (OTG) Mini A plugs have an extra (5th I think) pin. They are not the same as ordinary USB Mini A. You use then to connect to OTG devices.

1 out of 5 stars How universal is mini-USB?   April 11, 2008

Didn't fit my phone. Looks almost, but not quite, the same at the 'mini-USB' end. Guess the 'Universal' in USB started going out of the window with A-type and B-type, then mini-USB, so not sure if the supplier is entirely to blame.

The lesson I have learned is buy these things from a real shop if you can so you can see the product and maybe even check it fits...

1 out of 5 stars Rubbish!   March 8, 2008

It's the wrong shape! Advertised as a 'mini USB A-plug' it doesn't fit a mini USB A-socket! Unbelievable. Not worth the plastic it's made of. Incidentally, the product I received isn't the product pictured. Very poor, Amazon.

4 out of 5 stars Does what it says on the tin   February 21, 2008

Bought this adapter to connect to my iPod dock (JBL On Stage Micro speaker dock).
Works fine. Quality feels fine.
