When I eventually got it working (the installation CD was scratched, so I had to download the driver from the manufacturer's site) it did what it said on the box. One problem is that the cable splits into microphone jack and camera USB plugs,about 6" from the end, so if your USB and mic ports are not next to each other (they aren't on my laptop) you have to decide between being seen or being heard. In the end I used another mic. The fact that lights can't be switched off is an annoyance too, as others have said.
It's mighty cheap, so I suppose I shouldn't complain, but its only just adequate value for money.

The best webcam to work with vista by far!
I have gone through numerous webcams before which didn't install with vista so this is a first for me to actually work with the new operating system.
I was expecting the webcam to be like the price but it is far from this. It has an excellent picture quality and is smaller than i thought too.
Amazing value for money, everything works - One happy customer and will definately be using this customer again.
Also, i must say that the delivery was exceptionally quick as i wasn't expecting it come within 5 days but it came in two :)
A must order for users of the new operating system - Vista!

I ordered this camera as I was desperate for a webcam,and it was delivered very quickly. The first camera came without a disc for installation I emailed the seller and they sent me a link. The link did not work so camera was returned (at my cost) and a new camera sent. This one had the disc but when we tried it it did not work. We tried it on three different computers and it would not work on any of them. Returned camera (again at my cost) and in the end received a refund with a note from the seller to say that the camera worked for them!! So now I still dont have a webcam and am out the cost of posting the cameras back.

What can I say, The software eventually loaded but wasn't keen, had to mess around for a while. The web cam works well,good picture,sound too, but at various times on launching or later it crashed my PC so I had to uninstall it. The other problem was that the LED's are on all the time as my PC is in a cabinet, and also they shine in your eyes when looking into it (obviously) Not sure how safe that is as all the LED torches I have say Don't look into the beam ?? Anyway, since it said it would be OK with XP and it doesnt seem so then ONE STAR but had it worked on my PC then 4.
