When you look at the above images, you expect to get a tablet with pen and mouse...but that's not the case. It may just be that I recieved a faulty item, but there was no 'ergonomic mouse' included with mine. I'm not that fussed about the mouse, though, since I work with a laptop, so I'm going to move straight on to the quality of the tablet itself.
Let me start by saying that I used to have a wacom, which most people will agree is one of the most well-known and best brands. And it was excellent, but tiny. I wanted something which had more working area, but didn't want to pay the price that wacom demanded, so going on the strength of the reviews below, I bought this model. And I'm in love with it. Yes, it takes a bit of time getting used to the larger movements that are required, but the pen glides well over the surface, and pen pressure is recognized well. It took me a little while to figure out why it kept clicking when I was drawing, but I soon figured out that was because my movements weren't big enough - while they were fine on the small tablet, larger movements are required with this tablet to create fine details. Which makes drawing actually a lot easier. And the transparant overlay is an ingenious idea. Although it can be a little difficult to get into, but it saves so much time and effort, and means I can trace my paper drawings into photoshop without having to scan them in first.
The design is clean, with no wasted space - unlike the wacom, there is very little surround in relation to the working area. The pen holder is deep (again, unlike the wacom) which stops the pen from rolling around and falling out when the tablet is moved.

I was quite hesitant when I bought this tablet, there are a lot of mixed reviews for it on the internet and I didn't know what to expect. I've never had a tablet before and I bought this because it is cheap and big. It is a good entry level tablet. Huge work area, pressure sensitivity, many useful shortcut buttons, wireless pen (although the tablet itself needs to be connected via USB).
The drivers on the disc didn't work and I had to go on-line and download working drivers. The one's on their website work but I prefer another driver I found through Google (one of the first few results in the search).
Im using the tablet with Vista 32-bit and it all works, although Vista's built in tablet drivers do interfere with it(to get round this just make sure you follow the installation instructions i.e. install drivers and restart before plugging in tablet).
The pen itself feels a little cheap and seems like it could fall apart, but if you don't abuse it, it should be fine.
The tablet is quite large so make sure you have the desk space for it.
Almost all the problems other people have had, are been because of incorrect drivers being used (pen jumping about wildly, screen restricted to a small area of the tablet, excessive pressure needed to use pen, etc), and these all go away when you install the correct driver.
There is one significant issue though. The pen is hypersensitive and shakes about a little bit (a pixel to either side when drawing). This will become evident when you try to draw a perfectly straight line (it will show up as slightly jagged). I get the impression from on-line forums that this is a problem with Vista and isn't an issue with XP. This doesn't bother me much and with anti-aliasing the problem is less pronounced.
All in all this is a pretty good tablet. I'm an amateur and wanted to start off with something cheap. I would definitely recommend this for other amateurs and for professionals I would recommend they consider how much the slight shaking will bother them before they buy this.

I am a professional graphic designer in the marketing department of a civil engineering company, I have been using me Logitech Wireless TrackMan Optical Mouse which is my baby! However, I recently had a load of freehand work to produce so I asked my IT department to get me a cheap Graphics Tablet, a few days later I received one of these.
Now I've had very little experience using a tablet, I only ever used one at uni, many moons ago. Changing the settings took about 2 mins not even that, then I spent about a day playing with it and getting used to the buttons on the pen and the pressure ones on the tablet.
I have to say I really like this tablet it is pretty solid which is handy when your constantly leaning on it, you know its not going to break!

I have two 20" monitors unlike most people so for me the plate represents both monitors which took a bit of getting used to.
I don't know how this compares to other tablets but I have to say I'm so impressed with this tablet that I want one for home so when I looked here on Amazon only to see if they had it in stock, then when I saw the price I was even more impressed.
There is a mouse which is pretty nifty, but I don't use mine. So I can't say a lot about it.
I only have one small gripe with the whole thing and its the pen, ok its plastic that's fine, but its far to light I like a bit of weight to a pen or pencil, and it just feels to light, but that's just my point of view.
All in all this is a great bit of hardware and for the price really your laughing.
I would recommend this item to anyone who is looking to get a decent graphics tablet for a reasonable price.

It simply does the job and the price is affortable! I really like the A4 size drawing area and be able to put a A4 paper behind and trace your drawing. I bought this a year ago and I found it as an excellent tool to start with.
Of course this is not the best graphics tablet you can have, the best one is probably few thousand pounds Wacom :P, therefore it depends what you need and how much you can afford!

I have owned one of these trust tablets in the past. All i can say is that no other tablet can be compared favourably against a WACOM tablet!
I found that the pen felt cheap and lacked the kind of sensitivity required to give a smooth line.
The driver software is also poor. I wanted to use the tablet with a 2 monitor setup in photoshop with the tablet configured to draw on display 1 and then use my standard mouse to navigate displays 1 & 2. On display 2 i positioned my palettes. This was not possible. However the WACOM tablets will let you create this kind of setup.
Most annoying i found that there was a significant lag between a pen stroke being made on the tablet and its display on the screen.
I sold this tablet, having been frustrated by it for 2 months. I opted for buying an old second hand WACOM ARTPAD II A3 size. Which i got for about 60 a couple of years ago. The difference in WACOMS superior quality astounded me, this old WACOM tablet is a joy to use!
I am about to invest in a WACOM bamboo to go with my laptop as the A3 WACOM isnt exactly portable!
