Beautiful ergonomic design, but dodgy quality September 10, 2008 Jeremy Douse (London, UK) The feel of this mouse is great, and it looks great. However the one I got didn't respond to a left click due to poor finishing of the plastic external button cover. If they can't get their quality control right.....
Excellent March 28, 2008 bagombosnuffbox (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Heavy? Not in the slightest. With this type of mouse you don't need a mouse-mat and it glides nicely. Best feature: for me, the most important feature of the mouse is the scroll-wheel: this is very responsive with precision. Set-up: piece of cake. No software needed to get it up and running. Just literally put the batteries in (supplied), plug in and you're off (this was using Windows-xp) Comfort: I have to agree with one of the reviewers concerning the extra buttons being in an uncomfortable position. Having said that, I won't be using them. Do yourself a favour, install FireFox and use FireFox mouse short-cuts instead - why people continue using I.E this day and age is beyond me! Conclusion. Excellent value for money - very comfortable, handles nicely and it looks great too.

This mouse is comfy to hold, with a very solid well made feel to it. I bought a wireless mouse for my desktop pc because the cable on my last one kept caching on the back of the desk which got very annoying when using it. With no wires this has gone away! As the other reviewers have comented it is heavier than a corded or laptop mouse, but as you are only sliding it about and not picking it up you don't notice it as it moves smoothly, but i am using a mousemat so it may be harder on other surfaces. I prefer the forwards and back buttons on the top of the mouse, you can't accidentally click them like the ones on the side. Can't give it 5 stars as i've only had it for a day so don't know how long the batteries last, but this is of course in proportion to how much you use it! It didn't work when plugging it all in when the pc was on as the instructions say, but after re-starting the pc with it plugged in, it worked fine without downloading the Logitech software.
LX7 after 18 months November 22, 2007 Muymalestado (Highlands) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
robhowcroft is about right this isn't the lightest mouse - if that is a problem and not a feature for you. I got fed up with the small notebook mouses burning batteries AND they did not fit my hand. This one is quite good for me. I have dropped the poor thing a good few times with no ill effects, so far. Batteries last over a year; I've changed once a couple of months ago - no complaints there. Real good features for me are 1. the clickable switches do not extend down to the front of the mouse body so in awkward desktop positions bumping the front of the mouse into the laptop does not click, and 2. those two buttons on top; the fore/back action is great, and I detest side buttons. Also, the wheel scrolls sideways which is nice. It suits me, for you it will depend on your hand.
Not perfect but a solid piece of hardware... July 11, 2007 Robert Howcroft (UK) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I received this yesterday and despite initial teething problems in setting up, all was well in the end. However, unlike many other plug and play mice, this will need the bespoke Logitech software installing before the mouse will be recognised. It takes two AA batteries rather than AAA so does feel heavy compared to others - the extra weight has taken some getting used to, especially after using a small notebook mouse for so long. However, having been through quite a few mice in my time, many have ended up being destroyed through IT anger and this does feel solid and well built enough to withstand quite a few harsh knocks and bangs! If I have one small criticism, it's that the two extra mouse buttons - forwards and backwards - are on top of the shell rather than on the sides. This does mean that you have to move your hand slightly back from your normal holding position and need to use your forefinger rather than your thumb. Over a prolonged computer session, this will mean a great deal of hand movement in switching back and forth between the front and top buttons. I guess I'll get used to it but to me that's not quite as ergonomic as it could have been and loses the mouse one star for layout. All in all, a solid piece of kit once you're used to the strange positioning of the extra buttons.
