Worse than useless September 24, 2008 George Baileyovsky (London) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I can only assume that the set I received was faulty; if it wasn't then no one should be allowed to sell this thing. I have used Trust equipment before and been reasonably happy but never again. I installed this with no problem on an up-to-date PC and spent an hour trying to use it. And failed! The mouse refused to staying working for more than two minutes before both it and the keyboard hung, necessitating resetting the dongle. Even during the brief respites when the thing worked, the mouse was wildly erratic and flung the pointer all over the screen when it wasn't sulkily freezing in one place. All in all an unhappy experience: keyboard and mouse are the basic ways of using a computer and when they don't work, you're stuck. Don't get stuck with this kit.
Trust TRUST September 16, 2008 Mrs. Karen Lovell (Worthing, West Sussex United Kingdom) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm very pleased with this product. It works far better than other wireless keyboards and mice I have used. The range is very good, I sit about 8 feet from my screen and even with lots of other media devices in the location the Trust performs admirably. The keypad is very well built indeed, solid and sturdy. All in all a 5 star product.
Great value, but not perfect August 25, 2008 S. Brackenridge (Oxford, UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This keyboard and mouse combo represents great value for money and works very well. The mouse is excellent, a good size and shape (although possibly slightly too large if you have very small hands), and both the keyboard and mouse have no detectable lag. Typing is fine on the low profile keys. The supplied wireless receiver is small and works well even when plugged into a computer below my desk. However, to accommodate the 12 silver shortcut keys (6 on each side), the layout of the keyboard is slightly unusual. The block of 6 keys above the cursor keys is arranged 2 wide by 3 deep rather than 3 wide by 2 deep. This may take a bit of getting used to if you use these keys a lot (personally I don't). Also, the zero key on the numerical key pad is not as wide as normal to allow the cursor keys to fit in. The biggest annoyance, however, is the lack of lights to indicate if Caps Lock, Scroll Lock and Number Lock are on. These would be much more useful than the multimedia keys in my opinion! But these are only minor caveats and given the price it is hard to really complain! All that remains to be seen if how the battery life holds up...
super July 29, 2008 Mr. David Jarvis (Alexandria,Scotland) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
i recently purchased this item and i've got to say i'm very impressed with it.so impressed i felt the need to write this review. the keyboard is a very sleek design and is mouse is very comfortable.for the money this is great value.worth every penny and probably more. don't waste money on a more expensive keyboard, cause lets face it if this one does break for any reason(which i've seen no evidence of thus far)at least it didn't cost you a fortune
It will make you happy July 23, 2008 El Mono Sabio (London) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My previous wired keyboard died last week after I opened it to clean it (if it ain't broken, don't fix it) so I got myself a wireless one from Argos made by some company called Mikoni. What a mistake! It stopped working at random intervals even after installing the drivers, the whole thing felt like a cheap plastic toy and the receiver unit looked like something out of Dr Who. Within the first 10 mins of using it, I was on the Internet looking for another keyboard (being able to write at random intervals, that is). For the same price as the previous one, I got myself this Trust keyboard set there is a world of difference in terms of quality and performance. The keyboard and mouse only need two steps to get the working. Place the batteries in, plug the tiny USB receiver and that's it! No need for drivers or synchronization. I am using Windows XP and all the especial multimedia keys work fine. On top of this, the keyboard is slim and narrow which is great for small desks. The keys are of the right proportions (i.e. no small intro key) and are located were you expect them. They also have nice soft resistance when you type (if you do a lot of typing you probably know what I mean). Finally, I have used it for a whole day and I haven't had any sync issues. Something tells me there won't be any in the future either. If you want a good quality wireless keyboard that works and feels good, go for this one, it will make you happy.
