I didn't know how to use it at the begining. You need to press the button on the usb which is not obvious at all(it's the blue led). Then you press the connect button on the bottom of the mouse and it should work:)

Although I bought this item for my laptop use, it has gone beyond just a normal laptop use. The "Trust Wireless Optical Mini Mouse" as the name suggests has all the features you require from "mini" mouse. Its small and have the basic functions. Its plug&play, so work with any version of windows (have tried XP and Vista both).
Also, I have used this for the presentations as well, just as a wireless presenter. Its has a nice grip on the side to hold it like a presenter, and plus the roler, which can be used to move forward/backward within the presentation. Only thing is that it doesnt have is the laser, which anyway, i dont tend to use that often. Ideal use for any student.....and others as well.
Final advantage is that the wireless usb receiver slots in the back of the mouse which clicks its use, so no battery life is wasted as such.
Good for style, and indeed very good for uses.......and at a good price from Amazon.....Well Done
