Firstly the other reviews mentioning the retractable cable have reviewed the wrong item as this is the wired mouse as it clearly states, so ignore there comments about that. The mouse itself consits of a smooth rubber like material at the back that feels nice when in your hand. Its fast and responsive, and the colour changing glow is one of the nicest i've seen on a mouse, in the dark its even more impressive. I've had this mouse for almost two years now and it works as well as it did the day i brought it, it has not warn or degraded in any way. Not the cheapest but overall i would recommend this mouse.
Not retractable as pictured March 4, 2008

The cord on this mouse is not retractable, which is what I had been looking for - a full sized mouse with retractable cord...to avoid those kinking cables all over the desk; without going to the inconvenience of a battery mouse.
But its not retractable. Its a good mouse though, picks up everything is OK for gaming.

I bought 4 of these mice for my company as we all use laptops and sometimes need to use a mouse instead of the touchpads.
* The Good Points
It's very compact, the cable retracts from both ends and when reeled up it's about 6cm in length and 3 cms wide. It also fits very nicely in a laptop bag.
The glow is very pretty and gets the wow factor. After a while you don't notice though.
The scroll button works very well and has the resistance you need.
* The Bad Points
The mouse is very small and if you have large hands you will find it hard to get to grips with.
I think it's a bit pricey for what it is, I have has the Microsoft equivalent to this and it was less than a tenner and just as good.
It lacks any other buttons, maybe 1 or two for me to assign things to would be nice.
Taking that into account I'm happy with it and haven't had any complaints from my team.
