Using on a Mac, better than Mighty Mouse? May 18, 2008 A. Brown 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Ok here goes, this mouse is better than the Mighty Mouse in almost every way, it is a proper mouse and it is a joy to have a right mouse button and a wheel that works not some stupid nipple thing, the battery life is great but there is one thing that makes me give it one star rather than five and that is that you have to turn it on every time you start up the Mac, if you don't turn it on quick enough the Mac won't pick it up and you have to restart the Mac just to get the mouse working, a fairly obvious flaw here, at least with the Mighty Mouse it is picked up every time you turn on your computer.
Very Pleased May 15, 2008 D. Wilson (London, UK) I was considering buying the Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse, but was dissuaded by the poor customer reviews. So I looked into this one. I am glad I did. It is a good size and shape, it is reliable and very handy. And it matches my white MacBook very well. I have had mine for about 3 weeks now. Battery is fine. It connected straightaway, even without the Logitech software being installed. The fact that it has no extra programmable buttons doesn't bother me. The tracking is excellent - I was just now using it on the arm of my armchair(!) and it was fine. And the Bluetooth range is great too. And because it is Bluetooth it frees up another USB socket. One thing I was unsure about was whether or not I could use the mouse and run a connection to another Bluetooth device at the same time, I have found out that I can! A bonus! I have had a few problems with it disconnecting itself from my MacBook, but nothing too serious. Re-pairing it has solved the problem each time. I whole-heartedly recommend the V470.
Perfect! May 9, 2008 Mr. J.A.S. (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ive just bought this for my macbook. Its a great simple bluetooth mouse. Certainly not too small as suggested in another review and fits neatly in your hand. Quickly connected to my laptop and works without fault, and I did not have to load any of the included software. If you want a good, solid bluetooth mouse i don't think you can go wrong with this
Not bad April 1, 2008 D. James (Kent, UK) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
Firstly the good points: This mouse doesn't require the driver CD on Vista - it works with the built in Bluetooth stack. The mouse does work very well (I would never call it sluggish) and comes with batteries (Am yet to see how long _they_ will last). It also has horizontal scrolling, which is handy. Now the bad points: It's too small - I can't stand this trend that notebook mice must be tiny. It is all a little unexciting for 30ish it has no accessory buttons, and it is not rechargeable. On the whole I can see no reason to justify buying one of these (Unless you are use a Mac and are used to simple things), get something better (or at least as good) and for less money.
Nice February 20, 2008 Willwander (uk) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Nice feel, good weight, quite small which I like. Installed easily in bith leopard and Vista (bootcamp) on a MacBook Pro. Tiny bit sluggish but you would only notice if you were gaming. Like it.
