I bought one of these to use in the classroom with powerpoint presentations. As a mouse it's a bit small and uncomfortable to use - I find myself using the laptop pad instead. As a presenter it's great; you quickly get used to advancing or sending slides back remotely. The laser pointer is the best teaching aid since chalk - well, almost. A minor niggle is that you have to switch it between mouse and pointer mode with a small switch on the mouse's belly.
Basically, I'm pleased with it enough that my brother's getting one for his birthday.
