Purchased this little mouse ( 19.99) on the basis of other reviews here. Tremendous little mouse this is. No software to mess around with, no CD loading. It's simply plug 'n' play. Push in the USB wireless adaptor thingie into a free USB port and, in my case Vista, the computer simply recognises it and loads the driver. From then it's plain sailing. Mouse action is extremly smooth and the wheel is very precise. When finished you can even take out the adaptor from the computer and push back into the the appropreate bit on the mouse itself which in turn then auto switches off the batteries. (small light tells you) Also has a manual switch off of the batteries as well if required. All in all a super piece of technology.
BTW: also tried this on my older Xp machine and again it functioned without a hitch. So thankyou for independent reviews.

I've had the mouse for 2 weeks now and have had NO probs so far, works effortless, and all I had to do was plug in the USB wireless receiver, better still just pop it in my bag and does the same at work, just plug in and go. Does come with a software cd that you can install but try not to as it should work without.
Highly recommend it

Ive had the mouse 7 months I've had no problems with it and its still on its 1st set of battery's which is really good considering i use it for over 3 hours day normally, also I've found the mouse comfortable to use and generally looks good

This is a pretty perfect and cheap wireless mouse which is quite useable for deathmatch on a laptop either at a desk or on a book on a chair arm if that's your thing. I have found that the side click on the mouse's scroll wheel isn't supported in firefox but this may just be vista's driver choice being a little off but no matter.
The small usb stick that the mouse uses fits neatly into its base and then power automatically goes off (and on when reconnected to a port). The proportions of the buttons mean my fingers just overlap its front which is very comfortable but still diminuitive enough for small compartments in your laptop bag. Its supplied mesh bag is well designed and will protect the mouse if dropped into a tangle of power supplies and gubbins. The base looks like a camera front too, with a discreet manual off button for battery saving without reinserting the usb stick (good if you use standby on the laptop often in one place).
The scroll wheel is very quiet even when scrolling down a long page and clicking it works fine to then drag down in a web browser. The battery is meant to offer a year's use and since the supplied ones are duracell I don't expect it to fail by much. The side mouldings, where your thumb and ring fingers sit, is made from the velvety material modern car dash's and the psion 5 was coated in - whether this will remain pristine remains to be seen but it's a nice texture for accuracy and less strain over long use.
