I got the 3000 mouse yesterday and loved it , but cannot find out about the light INSIDE THE MOUSE being on all the time.Is this supposed to happen ? even at night when the pc is off ,the red light on the mouse still flickers all the time.It must be using up the battery
Micro soft are no help even if you are prepared to hang on for 90 mins or so
Does anyone know if this is safe ?

this mouse is amazing! the scroller thing runs very smoothly, batteries last for ages, & it warns you when you need to replace! its very comfortable to use!
