From a basic Microsoft June 23, 2008 marybecs (England) I have always used a basic Microsoft mouse, my last one being an optical which I was delighted with after the old ball-type. It is old and had gone a bit yellow looking and not working too great on my new gel mat/wrist rest combination. I do not do gaming but use my computer for hours each day so I read every review and in the end plumped for this. I plugged it in and away it went and I am amazed at how smooth it is, almost like floating after my basic. I am a female and it fits perfectly into my small hand and the horizonal movement of the wheel is a boon as I had no idea there were such things. The only thing I am having to get used to is that it moves quickly, a bit like getting used to a Lexus after a Morris Minor, different but a pleasure and I could never go back. Thank you everyone for your reviews which helped me greatly.
Superb but not very rugged June 19, 2008 Tim Mcdonough 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is probably the best mouse I've ever used but I now have to replace it because left click has died. It wasn't a fast death, things like double clicking on it's own for several weeks but it finally gave up the ghost. If I had had it for over a year I would have said fair enough but it's only eight months old. Saying that I am going to buy another one to replace the broken one on the off chance that mine was a Monday/Friday one. The features on the mouse are that good, or I'm an idiot! Time wil tell.
Perfect mouse apart from the wheel June 10, 2008 Mrs. A. J. B. Kennedy (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Plugged it in and cant complain, works brilliantly, feels great etc. You can read all the other reviews for the pro's The mouse wheel is slightly irritating for me as i use it often, where yo click it rather than scroll it, like a 3rd button, but with this mouse its kind of fiddely and has to be pushed just right, im sure ill get used to it, but great mouse anyway.
Very elegant and extremely 'handy': what a great gizmo! February 16, 2008 Geoffrey Woollard (Cambridgeshire, England) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
In my aged ignorance, I didn't know that 'mice' had evolved much from the left click/right click and middle-roller. This Logitech example has already given me much pleasure, however, for it is very elegant even to look at - I admire its lines literally for minutes on end - and, more importantly, it is extremely 'handy,' both to handle and to operate. The 'left click/right click and middle-roller' is augmented by a 'tip right' and 'tip left' function that is good for processing pictures and the additional 'forward - back' buttons are great for both pictures and text. What a great gizmo!
Brilliant, just what i needed. January 24, 2008 Dinkoman.com 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was looking for a new mouse that had 5 buttons or more so i could play Counter-strike better, so i decided to purchase this one. It is one of the best things i have ever bought. I decided to go for a corded mouse as i had never been a fan of wireless mice. EROGONOMICS: The ergonomics on this mouse are incredble. They got it just right here. My hand is about average size i reckon and the grip for the thumb is great. It allows you to easily click the two thumb buttons, which i use for crouching and jumping in FPS games and Forward and Back on the internet. It really speeds things up. The other areas of the mouse are great as well. It fits neatly into my hand when i'm doing any task. SPEED and CONTROL: The speed and control on this mouse is great. I was previously using an optical, but thought i would go for a laser mouse to see what they were like. I'm not disapointed at all. The mouse precisionand speed is great for playing games, but can be set in game so it is at a calm speed when i'm just generally using the PC. The only faults i can find with the mouse are that the scroll wheel is a bit hard to push down without hitting the other buttons, as there are 5 button functions built into the scroll wheel alone. CONCLUSION: So basically this mouse is everyhting i was looking for. It's great for gaming and general everyday use. It's at a bargain price for a mouseof this spec, and of this brand. I think that if you are thinking of buying it... do so now.
