This is a really good product. Installation was simple and problem free, mouse is very responsive and you can assign buttons as you wish. Nice one !
Dodgy Scroll Wheel May 16, 2008 O. Bell (UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Excellent aesthetics but let down by the scroll wheel and shape. Firstly for me it just didn't seem as comfortable as my previous Logitech mouse and therefore I have gone back to Logitech! Secondly the scroll seems really erratic. When the software is installed you move the wheel a touch and the page zooms along far too much. After this I decided to uninstall the software but guess what happens............Yes, I had to spin the wheel multiple times to scroll down just a tiny bit! This was running on Vista Premium.
Beware January 26, 2008 S. Parkes (West Midlands, England) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
My computer will not start with this Mouse connected. I have to disconnect it to start the computer and re-connect when the computer is running. This is very annoying. Another problem is it keeps reporting the battery level as critical even after inserting brand new batteries.
Read this before you buy! January 20, 2008 Mr. A. Joul (bradford uk) 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
Baught this mouse as my conventional mouse, despite cleaning, didnt move around the page too well. Had read the reviews which seemed very good, especially the ones from people who use computers every day as im a nurse i take notice of these. The software installed very easily and the mouse moves round the screen with amazing speed and ease. People who say its heavy must have problems feeding themselves! (and you dont lift it anyway!) and the toggle although as big as the mouse fits behind my monitor and still in the sight of the mouse with ease. Fantastic i thought! The next time i used my computer i noticed the screen was still on after half an hour rather than on stand by. When i went to check this the screen froze then crashed, came up blue asking me to restart the computer and if this did not work to uninstall the softwear for the mouse. Well it happened again. Microsoft say on the info which comes with this to back up your data, with good reason, lost most of my programmes softwear and settings, some of my files where recovered and im now reinstalling all the programmes. Of course it could have been me, im no computer wizard, but i did what it said on the tin, and its cost me 50 for someone more competent than me to sort it out and im still setting up my computer 2 days later. Apparently this happens alot with new softwear, like the electric windows on my old car, i wish i had stuck with the wind up handle and in this case the conventional mouse. Take care mike.
