Cheap, but a little nasty June 25, 2008 Chris J (UK) My advice: check this one out "in the flesh" (in a shop) before you buy. It's one of the cheapest optical mice, but not (in my opinion) the best value. The build quality is poor: the plastic is thin and the mouse feels extremely lightweight. The buttons feel reasonably good when you click them, but the scroll wheel feels very strange. I've owned two other optical mouse (a Microsoft one - much better build quality) and a cheap generic one that cost about as much as the Trust, but was much better than this one. One good point: the Amazon price is currently about 30% cheaper than you can find this in a leading high-street stationery store.
Very good for the price. April 26, 2008 John Meanwood (Leeds, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I needed a mouse as I could not get used to the mouse pad on the laptop. This mouse was the cheapest I could find on Amazon and it installed straight from the box via USB. I have been using it every day for the last two months and I have had no problems with it, except that the laptop sometimes 'forgets' what the mouse is for and I have to unplug it and then plug it back in; this is a minor foible and may actually be a problem with the Microsoft installed driver. The other reviewer complains that it did not scroll fast enough. This can be changed in the Control Panel on the computer and is not a fault with the mouse; mine scrolls perfectly well at the speed I have set it at. For the price, this is an excellent mouse and one that I am very happy with, considering that I could have paid over 15 for an 'official' Microsoft example.
This is useless, don't buy April 8, 2008 Kat (UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I got this a as replacement for a wireless mouse that just didn't perform fast enough. This is as bad or worse. It doesn't scroll properly, simple as that. A cheap mouse that is not worth the money. I thought all wired mice were much the same, apparently not.
