Wall bracket August 11, 2008 T. Loginova (UK) 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
TV is fine but it is not designed to mount on the wall. Having also purchased the mounting bracket at a further 11 quid I discovered that the main feed, ariel connecter and scart cable all protude by up to 50mm. Thus it can only be mounted on the bracket if you dont plug in any of the cables. Still you can still impress your friends, unless of course they want you to switch it on. Unless you want to dig great chanels out of your wall this is not a wall TV. As a flat screen telly to sit on its stand it is fine. I,m off to buy one that will fit on the wall. Any body want a TV? And finally to the idiot TV designers. Make it so the sockets are all at the bottom of the telly then they can all be plugged in. Wasn't that difficult.
What no Headphones July 1, 2008 J. Crow 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
Lovely picture, some great inputs for most items. A lovely looking monitor, and i really don't want to return it, BUT. I looked every where for the advertised audio output, I contacted LG services, but like myself they could not find something that was not there, plus the monitor sound was terrible, and no way was there any way for the Dolby to be executed
Superb design and functionality June 7, 2008 C. Haynes (London, UK) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I spent a few days researching which TV monitor to purchase, and this one came up with great reviews from more than one site, and ticked lots of boxes for the features I needed. Just a note, the Amazon description is wrong. This TV monitor's maximum resolution is 1680x1050, so it's NOT 1080p, and therefore is NOT "Full HD Ready". This aside, the inclusion of an HDMI port and Composite is what really swung it for me. I'd have liked to have seen a DVI input too, but I have a DVI to VGA converter which seems to suffice. The TV came with a VGA cable, too, so that's good to have since I couldn't find my spare and was dreading butchering my housemate's old PC to get one. The sound is reasonable for a TV this size, but you might want to invest in an external output. Again, the TV includes a 3.5mm jack cable to output sound somewhere else. I don't have an aerial cable in the room this TV is in, so I can't say how the digital tuner performs, but the analogue one is fine with a loop aerial. Picture quality is good, but I'd assume it would be better through the house aerial. The swivel stand and hinge are very easy to use. The menu system is also very comprehensive and very easy to read and use. As a monitor, Mac OS X Leopard detected it without a problem. I don't use Windows so I can't say how it performs there, but you do get a CD of drivers that you'll probably have to install. I use this TV with my Wii, and the graphics are of good quality and on a par with my 42" LCD TV. Overall, 9/10. If it had a DVI input, it would be 10/10 for a TV of this size.
LG 22 Inch Widesceen TFT Monitor Including Digital TV Tuner April 27, 2008 Kevin Dodd 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This was just what I was looking for in a TV/Monitor. Very Easy to set up and disassemble. Very crisp display. Very easy to switch between inputs. Very easy to tune in TV channels and DTV channels using the internal Digital TV Tuner. The only negative I found was the loose fitting power cord.
First rate as a TV or Monitor! February 26, 2008 D. Downs (Harrogate) 18 out of 18 found this review helpful
Very quick and easy to set up out of the box and looks really good, as you would expect from a premium brand like LG. The picture is very sharp as both TV and Monitor; I would recommend this as the best price 22" TV/Monitor I could find online. You won't be disappointed.
