A little beauty! July 18, 2008 K. Jamison (Co. Down, United Kingdom) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Fed up with minitower cases and corporate beige, I chose to go gloss black and compact. This case is 'two-storey' - drive bays are in the upper half while the motherboard sits neatly below on it's own sliding tray. It's literally the width of a uATX board plus 10mm or so - very narrow! Assembly is a breeze - but put the PSU in last for the extra space you'll need to attach internal cables and header plugs. A nice integral handle makes this very portable and even with a full computer inside the case, the aluminium casing keeps the whole thing surprisingly light. The motherboard sliding tray is a bit flimsy at first but when it is assembled and installed, it's very rigid. Once the case is re-assembled, it becomes very sturdy. Ventilation is handled solely at the back giving a nice uninterrupted glossy look to the top and sides. A large 120mm fan keeps the case cool while keeping the noise down. An LCD panel at the front displays the temperature from a thermistor which can be placed anywhere - I chose the CPU but the cable is long enough to let you choose any location for yourself. It's only downside could be seen as a lack of a PSU, however this has allowed me to choose the PSU best suited to my requirements. Lovely!
