5 out of 5 stars Shiny Red PC Case with Temperature Display   September 12, 2008
P. Waterman (London, England)
Overall a very nice looking case and quite light too. That shiny red finish is stunning. I particularly like the front door feature which hides away everything except the power button when you're not busy swapping drive media for a good while. The colourful front panel temperature display is really useful for monitoring your CPU, Hard disc or the case temperature; just attach the sensor where you want to monitor. The user-variable speed, 12cm side panel fan, looks really cool in the dark and also helps to keep the case temperature down when working along with the back panel fan that you must buy separately. The dust mesh for the 12cm fan was a really good idea and traps a lot of dust from getting inside the case. Lots of drive bay space inside if you mounting a lot of hard drives and you can also mount a fan here in front of them to keep them cool as well! The case electronics, such as the 12cm fan and front panel controls require an extra two power connectors though, which I didn't expect but you can get around it with a 3-way power supply splitter which can be purchased from Maplin Electronics. It would be nice to include this splitter cable in the future. The case would do with a second 3.5" bay opening to allow for things such as all-in-one memory card readers to be mounted and a shame about the audio/USB connectors not being on the front panel as the right hand side of the PC case is often obscured by your PC cabinet's side wall...
