Fantastic !July 12, 2008 Malcolm Anderson(UK) In the past I have had problems with several products by Trust, so was dubious in buying these speakers. But the 5.1 surround speakers are quite loud even at half way up. Subwoofer does give out very deep sounds - its very nice. I am quite statisfied with this purchace really. the cons would have to be that once you turn off the unit it does not remember the volume levels when switched back on. But I still give this a 5 out of 5 just because the sound is impressive. I would recommend it.
Superb quality speakers.February 2, 2008 elyoh(UK) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
An excellent set of speakers for 5.1 surround. The sound quality is very very good, especially the bass unit which really does justice to those action movies. That alone gives it a 5* rating.
One particularly good thing about this unit is that it does both 2.1 and 5.1 input and output so you can connect an ipod or stereo tv to the system with an option to output through all 5 speakers and the sub. Whilst not true 5.1 sound, it is still very impressive.
The speaker cable length was more than adequate but I have the system set up in a small flat. In a big front room in a house, you may need to extend the cables somehow. It also comes with jackin plug to RCA adapters so you can connect the 5.1 inputs to a compatible computer (which tend to use jackin plugs) or dvd (normally RCA).
I have one or two very minor niggles; the unit loses it's setting if you switch it off (rather than on standby) over night so I you want to be energy saving, you have to adjust the volumes every time you switch it on.
Also, the control is primarily by the supplied remote (overall volume and input selector on the sub) - depends on your preferences if this is ok for you. I'd like to have both for when I lose the remote or something like that.
