aweful..... simply aweful!. September 30, 2008 Mr. Neil S. Cosgrove (uk) This printer is probably one of the worst products i have bought in years and for so many reasons. Firtsly the cost, as everyone else has stated the cartridges you get free with the printer are introductory hence will run out in no time. The genuine cartridges there after cost a small fortune and don't last much longer than the freebies, in fact im unsure wether my printer is faulty but my magenta cartridge lasted only 15 ebay pages which didnt consist of that much colour. Apart from the fact that it's probably cheaper to run a small car than this printer i find that every time i use it i have various issues, too many to mention. I wont list them and warn you to be wary of them if you were to purchase one, i'll simply warn you not to purchase one!.
Good Old Epson August 19, 2008 Amon (At Home in England) I am impressed. I got one of theese to replace my now dead Epson Stylus C46 and all I can say is its much better. Both in print quality and build. I don't see why people are moaning about the noise, yes its a bit loud when loading paper but who cares for 30! I also like the fact that I can change each ink when it runs out instead of the whole lot of them in one go.
Stay away from this model. August 19, 2008 Mr. Michael J. Collier (Merseside. UK) Epson Stylus D92 Printer I purchased this printer a few weeks ago as a replacement for my Epson Stylus D88 and to be quite frank the D92 is a complete waste of money. It is flimsy in construction, it drinks ink at a phenomenal rate, it is very noisy and it is extremely slow at printing. I have had 5 Epson Printers in the past and every one was excellent. Stay away from this model - I am consigning mine to garbage bin - which is probably the best place for it! Don't think I will purchase another Epson again.
Oh dear! June 17, 2008 I. Pritchard (Bristol, England) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
How I wish I'd read these reviews first! I've been lucky in the past - I've not spent too much money on electronic stuff yet have not suffered from bad quality products. However I think my luck's run out with the Epson Stylus D92. Having only bought this printer a couple of months ago and having had very little use out of it, it's already telling me I'm out of black ink! I've hardly used it! I'm now looking at having to fork out 6 for a new black cartridge alone. Having now read the reviews I'm wondering if I should just cut my losses. Very frustrating, and would go with the majority of others in saying "don't buy the Epson D92"!
Do not buy Epson D92 June 14, 2008 Malkie Morrison 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
The Epson D92 I bought immedately threw up problems with my Windows XP. The status monitor flag (3) appeared after the first print and could not be closed down, locking my computer up completely. After a 17-minute phone call to Epson I was directed how to disable the status monitor. Three weeks later after printing no more than 25 b/w copies in total the printer stopped - out of ink! Another phone call produced no satisfactory response. It was too late to retrun the printer by then - I was left with a new printer with no status monitor demanding ink. I am binning the printer and would advise anyone NOT to buy this printer under any circumstances .
