I bought one of the above shredders in April 2005 for my small home office, chosen because it was cross cut and a reasonable size container, just about as big as you could get to fit in the kneehole of a desk. It did the job reasonably well until recently when it started to jam, and now it is unusable. After phoning around I contacted Acco's Spares dept.and asked if they could supply the shredder unit,which is held in place with 4 small screws.I was told there were no servicable parts in it. I asked what does one do with it, Throw it away? The reply was Yes. So now you know
