good for a while... September 30, 2008 Mr. T. L. Richardson (Wales) Good sound, decent fit. The main reason I buy these is because the cable splits early and by putting your head through the gap between that and the slider you can wear them all day as a necklace. Unfortunately after a few months, moving the slider every day causes the wire sheathes to break, making them generally unusable. I now have about 5 broken pairs. Until I find another pair that can be worn so easily I will keep buying them, but I feel like I am being conned buying the same product over again despite the obvious design flaw. It feels like they're designed to break.
Excellent August 8, 2008 ~Sooty~ (Scotland) so far so good top quality sound and they stay in my ear no matter how hard i jog ,run ,crunch etc when at the gym also quite stylish so top marks worth the money

Absolutely do not buy these headphones. They are made for people with giant dumbo ears, that's the only way I can explain the design. The ear band claims it's adjustable, but only to the extent that you might be able to wear them if you were Prince Charles rather than Charles Clarke. It is almost impossible to run in them, and even when walking along the street they slip easily.

I bought these for the gym and they were great. The sound quality aint bad either, though they do distort a little at high volumes (thats me being picky). I mainly use them for running and I really have not had a problem with them, they stay in position well and are light enough for me not to notice them. However I can understand why others have had problems. Fortunately the ear band fits my ears well, but if you have small ears the band would be too big and could slip off.
Half on, half off January 28, 2008 M21 (London, UK) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I bought these earphones based on the recommendations of other Amazon users, knowing full well that people's ears do not come in a standard shape or size so each user experience will be very different. I only use them at the gym so my priority was that they should stay in my ears no matter how much I run around on the treadmill. The plastic piece that fits over your ear is a bit uncomfortable because they are too big and therefore do not sit securely on my ears. So despite the earphones never fully falling off my ears, the ear bud pops out of my ear which gets really irritating because I'm constantly pushing them back in or having to turn the volume up on my mp3 player really loud to maintain the sound. The wire is far too long and it would have been helpful if Sony had put some sort of clip on the wire so that you could attach it to your clothes which might help the overly long wire to stop bouncing around which might then stop the ear buds being nudged out of my ears. When the ear pieces are in fully, the sound quality is good and the bass is still pretty thumping. But all of that is undone each time the damn thing pops out of my ear. I can't tell you to not buy them, because the plastic ear piece might fit your ears perfectly. All I can say is that they don't fit me and because of that, keep moving around and ruin the sound and are generally really irritating!
