What a headset September 26, 2008 Mrs. Lynda Reynolds this headset is fantastic. deep bass, comfy (soft padding on the headset), detachable/bendy mic is a good idea. came packaged well in a big box.and was quicker than expected. as long as this headset lasts, it's fantastic and i reccomend it to anyone.
Almost perfect August 26, 2008 D. Shepherd-Jones (Merseyside, UK) The sound quality of this headset is as good as faultless and the ability to remove the microphone and use them just as headphones gives them greater function than most. My only real fault with this headset is that the foam around your ears seems to be slightly too small for both myself and a few previous customers.
Katie August 24, 2008 katie (uk) This is the best headset i have used and i have used many as a world of warcraft player i find the sound quality excellent, nice price and very comfortable my best buy:)
Brilliant value for money August 18, 2008 E. Metson (Hertfordshire, England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Considering this headset is below 30, and considering the quality of other headsets around that price range, this is a truly fantastic piece of kit. It arrives in a neat box and I went straight ahead and plugged it into my PC and gave it a go. I previously used a cheap headset from GAME which began to get on my nerves as it just felt like a vice was on my head after a few hours of use. I put on some music to test it out and the difference in sound quality was immense, it was so much better! After using the headset for over a month now I also can say I haven't experienced a drop in quality at all. I can wear this thing for hours on end and its only after about 7 or 8 hours of constant use that it starts to hurt my ears a bit, the velvet padding on both the earpieces and the top of the set to rest against your head really does make a difference in luxury. And don't worry if you, like me, hate the feel of velvet when rubbed the wrong way, because the velvet on this product is not quite the same, it always feels smooth. Another nifty thing is with the detachable mic. It comes in very handy if you're eating at the PC and don't want to get food all over your mic, just take it out and put it right in front of you, then plug it back in when you're finished and you're ready to talk again straight away. My friends from Ventrilo claim they can hear me very clearly when talking, though apparently the mic was a little bit quiet when I hadn't turned the volume up on it or anything, but that's easily fixed in either Windows or Ventrilo/Teamspeak. So overall, a fantastic investment for under 30, you won't look back when you buy this thing. Well done Creative! Oh, and one last thing. When you get the headset and you're all excited its arrived, DON'T plug the microphone into the headset until you've got the headset all started up on the PC, otherwise it won't recognise the mic is plugged in until you take it out and plug it back in (caused hours of confusion for me, just a heads up for you guys).
great sound quality ,but a bit flimsy July 9, 2008 Mr. P. R. Clark (england) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
You cant argue with th sound quality,i can hear people sneaking up behind me on cod4 trying to stab me in the back,no more i can hear the the sods, good bass , good with dvds and music not bad, sound quality is comparable too more expensive headphones, the only down side is the build quality is bit weak ,just handle with care.
