I used my old 60gb hard drive on this and it works perfectly fine. The black pouch that they gave with it looks very nice right next to my computer, although the LED light is little too strong

I was about to buy 3 of these, and saw that I was being charged 4.99 per Product for STANDARD delivery bringing a total of 15 quid to put it int the royal mail! you can get much cheaper drives on amazon than the actual cost of this which is 7 pounds.

I bought this to convert a laptop drive into some extra storage for my Eee. Works wonderfully well. When I first opened the box I noticed there weren't any instructions and I was a little miffed. Then I realised how easy it was to slap together, so no problem.
What also helped was that it was delivered pretty speedily. All in all, an excellent product. Fully portable too, just don't throw it around!

It works straight out of the box: I just put a 2.5" drive in the case, plugged the case into a USB slot (using the supplied cable) and it worked. As easy as that. Sure, it's not built to withstand heavy treatment but then you don't throw your hard drives around that much. Do you?? Will buy a couple more.

At 1.99 I wasn't expecting too much, but this is remarkable value. Like the other reviewers, I just plugged in the 2.5 IDE drive and it worked immediately.
